We had a water leaking situation around kitchen area. A plumber from another company came yesterday offered a major invasive project as a solution which will cost big $$. I felt I need a 2nd opinion. I found Discount Plumbing & Rooter Co. from Yelp. The senior technician Luis is very professional & friendly. He checked the leaking trace & found the source that caused leaking, then stopped the leaking temporarily & provided a permanent solution which costs so so so much less $$ and invasion. Luis is very technical, mostly very honest. He is well deserved recognition & a good review.

Awesome company. Our water main broke last week. They quickly sent someone by to check out the break. It turned out that a root from an old tree in our front yard had been pushing the main up, and it had cracked. It was not a simple fix, because the root was still in the way of the water main. He did a careful job assessing the situation, and he found that there was a separate leak near where our main pipe connects to the supply.

The supervisor, Avo, is a real standup guy. He clearly communicated the issue and provided us with options. They put in a temporary bypass line, so that we could get water to the house again, but we will need a more permanent solution, eventually.

They quickly fixed it later that day. The crew was super polite and efficient. We're very happy with the work they did, and we would definitely call them again.

Great company. Very good communication. One day my wife woke up to a sewer flood and we panicked so we reached out to Discount Plumbing & Rooter and within 45 mins Avo the field supervisor arrived and assessed the problem and got right to work. They cleared our sewer line from the 4 inch clean out in my backyard to the main which is located in the middle of the street, he ran about 125 ft of cable to make sure the whole sewer line was clear. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs and make sure you ask for Avo the field supervisor, Very knowledgeable guy.

Our toilet backed up into both toilet and 2 showers - what a mess. Avo came out - called to set the time, confirmed he was coming and arrived when he said, which is always appreciated. He was polite, knowledgable and efficient; and perhaps even more important - he had the right equipment in his truck. The 75 foot snake was not long enough, had to go to the 150 foot+ one. Which opened everything up. Afterwards he was helpful with maintenance tips - how to try to keep the pipes unclogged; and what could be done more expensively/drastically if the problem kept occurring. He was fair with the price. I'd definitely use and recommend him for plumbing needs.

Avo is the best! We had a leaky tub faucet in a 70 year old house with rotten pipe behind the wall [Aaargh! $$$] but they got it done for under $3000 because instead of tile restoration, they put a new controller with a backing that covered the whole area. I didn't know such things exited. Good to have some expertise. Very satisfied. Quality work. :)

Our laundry drain in the garage was having a small leak. They came by and inspected the pipe quickly. After doing a thorough inspection, we found that the pipes underneath were pretty much gone so the best thing to do long term would be to run a new separate pipes underneath the garage. We got an estimate and the price was reasonable to we agreed to start doing the work the next day.

The crew showed up on time and started working right away. They worked efficiently and provided constant updates throughout the project. Took about a week to finished the work and everything was nicely done.

I was impressed with the crew and the quality of their work so had them inspected pipes throughout the house. We noticed that the drainage from the house to the city was damaged so I had them fix the issue too. This took about another week with the same crew and with the same high quality work.

Finally, also asked them to install a water filter/softener, it's a relatively small job compared to the first two so didn't take as long.

Overall really happy with the work that they did. The crew were very friendly too! Hopefully we won't have any issue from now; but if we do, will definitely call them again.

I was in the shower when I heard the toilet bubbling I told myself oh no there's a clog I didn't have time to unplug it myself because I was going to be late for work so I called the guys at discount plumbing and rooter they came out For an inspection and it turned out it was a crack pipe because the roots from a tree they did the repair the same day I came home and it was like nothing happened
