To everyone that is in the Waco area DO NOT USE DISCOUNT PLUMBING. They are a scam artists they lie to you on a price saying the part Cost Triple the amount than it actually does. They Say that warranty is void on a product so they are able to charge you for another one and get the warranty and pocket the money. I called the company that makes the pump and told them what was going on and it was still covered by warranty and I got a new one with no cost. He told me the sub pump cost $600 and that's with them giving him a discount and he is going to charge me the same deal he gets. when the company actually sells them between $300 and $400 depending on where you get them from in the area. But the place he got it from he got it for less than $400. So for paying him $950 total the first time he wanted additional $650 this time when it was covered by warranty for 3 years. He also stated that there was no way to get warranty on the pump that he tried everything. Apparently not because I only had to make two phone calls.

Do not call this company. I was threatened over the phone when they charged me for things they did not do. I paid them because I was scared.

Call LJ Castillo, a real plumber. Shawn cleared our drain when Discount Plumbing acted like they didn't know what to do.

Discount Plumbing are con men.

I had an appointment but the plumber never went to the location. He never called and when I tried calling him several times, he answered the phone and said, "Don't call back, I'm busy." Then he hung up on me. He said he tried calling me but my caller ID showed he never called.

Called them when my warranty company couldn't find anyone to send. They were at my house in 30 minutes. Fixed the problem quickly. Everyone I dealt with was so nice! Will definitely be my first choice next time!

Like the previous reviewer I made an appointment with James and he not only did not show up but also did not return my phone calls. Very unprofessional and I will not be using or recommending this company to anyone.

big thumbs down for these guys. i spoke to james early this morning and he and I made arrangements for him to be at an apartment that had no hot water "after lunchtime". james never called the apartment resident and by about 1:30 I started to wonder if he was too good to be true...he was. I have called no less than three times and left messages at least twice; nothing. if your reading this and you need a plumber...this guy was not reliable and did not have the courtesy to return my call and/or let me know i needed to find someone else.
