This is the second time I have used their services in 10 years. I had a tree root issue, and they did an amazing job both times. This morning Lonnie came out to unclog my system and he was super cheerful, had the BEST customer service attitude and within 2 minutes I knew I could relax because he had it under control. He reassured me and he didn't cut corners when it came to ensuring things were done correctly. I asked him plenty of questions about other services and he told me what could be done and how to save money doing it. I will continue to use Discount Plumbing for my home in Salida because of their consistent excellent customer service, great rates, and quality work. Also, all COVID protocols were followed, and I felt 100% safe. Well done!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! We got our garbage disposal replaced by Discount Plumbing and everything was fine at first. Then about a month later it stopped working so one of the plumbers came out to check it out and there was something stuck in the garbage disposal which he removed. I said thank you and to let me know how much it would cost and he said he will have to check and let me know. We never heard back from them. About a week and a half later our garbage disposal started leaking and the entire bottom wood piece under our sink was soaked and warped. We had just replaced this piece of wood after our garbage disposal was fixed the first time. I wasn't sure if it was something the plumber did so I called and spoke with the plumber that was just there the week before and he said that he just removed the item that was stuck in it and that was it. So I said okay thank you and that was the end of the conversation. I arranged for another Discount Plumber to come take a look at it and the soonest they could come was 3 days. When the day came I was waiting for the plumber to show up and I got a text that said "" thank you for using discount plumbing let us know how we did"" but nobody had showed up so I was confused and immediately called them. The guy that answered said that the plumber was already headed home for the day and that the plumber was knocking on my door. I was in the kitchen close to my front door and never heard a knock. I asked if it was possible for him to turn around since I had just gotten the text a minute ago and he had barley left. The guy then changed his story and said the plumber can't and that he's headed to the next job. I was very frustrated because I am unable to use my kitchen sink without it soaking the bottom cabinet under the sink, I then asked if a technician could come back out the following day and he said yes. He was VERY rude on this phone call!! I called the next day to see what time the plumber would be there and he said that I had a balance that I never paid and the first plumber tried to come back in my house after he fixed it the first time to tell me what I owed but there was a dog in the house and he didn't wanna open my door. Which yes we have a dog but why wouldn't he knock??? I was never made aware of this balance even tho I had talked to them twice since then. He told me that nobody will be coming to my house anymore since I slammed the door in the plumbers face (which NEVER happened!!!) Upset and confused I called my husband and told him what happened and my husband called them. That same rude employee answered and they told him that they filed a police report and won't be coming to fix our sink and then hung up on him. I am so confused why they would make up this blatant LIE!!! The guy was SO RUDE and this whole situation was confusing and upsetting. Needless to say we will NEVER be using them again. Everybody beware!!!!

I know there are many plumbing companies out there to choose from and it does makes it difficult at times to choose the right one. Trust me when I say this... look no further. So today is Sunday and i'm out Fishing at Lake McClure and I get a call from my rental house. The sewage drain is backed up and they can't take a shower, flush the toilet, or even wash the dishes and they have 5 kids at the house. In an emergency situation like this on a Sunday or even just a weekend, most companies will not come out or change outrageous fees. Well they had called out another company to get it unclogged and they tried to get it unclogged and couldn't. Then they tell me that I should run a camera down the drain to see what the problem is which will cost me $250, but can't do it until Monday. So they still charged me to come out and didn't even fix the problem. So I called up Discount Plumbing and spoke to Ryan. He told me that he has a Senior tech named Ken who is on call tonight and that if anyone can get it unclogged, Ken is the man. So I setup Ken to come out and BAM!!! What do you know Ken got it done. He is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. If you are in need of a plumber and especially if it's a weekend emergency please call Discount Plumbing everyone and you will not be sorry.

I needed some help with my shower heads not turning off completely, so I called Discount Plumbing, the next day I had an appointment. Anton Hernandez was the plumber who showed up, he was punctual, friendly and professional. He completed all work within an hour and now everything works perfect! I highly recommend this company.

I had great expectations for Discount Plumbing because they responded to my call quickly and scheduled a time for the estimate and probably work to be done. I was scheduled for 12-2 pm Monday. After 2 pm I called because no one showed up. I was told he was just finishing up in Manteca and would be out shortly. After 3 pm, I called again. I was once again told he is just finishing up in Manteca and would be on the road shortly. Since I had an appointment, which I mentioned when I first called, I had to cancel the visit for today. I was then instructed that someone would be out from 8-10 the next day. I called back after 10 as no one showed up. I was told they could be out later in the day. I said I would be calling someone else.
