Yesterday I had discount plumbing out and Lonnie was an awesome technician. Not only did he fix the problem I called for he found two more minor leaks under the sink. He also fixed a shower faucet in another bathroom. Thanks for the great professional service.

These guys are awesome and professional, called them on the weekend because my water heater died and they were able to replace it within of within a few hours. Francisco was awesome.

At first, things seemed fine, but then the employee helping me lost his professionalism when I asked about pricing and matching competitors. I was shocked at how rude he was and how abrupt he hung up saying, ""I've already wasted two missed calls while talking to you"". All because a simple question.. I hadn't even decided who I would hire before he lashed out- at which point I knew- if theres that much rudeness and unprofessionalism already- it's not worth my time or hard earned money.

WOW I dodged a bullet, this company tried to rip me off 2 days before Xmas. They sent Frank, their plumber out. He gave me a $700-$800 estimate, but would do job for $500... I called the office & asked to speak to the manager. The manager called Frank & discussed what needed to be done. Frank told his manager that he needed to bust out cement around my toilet to re set gasket, Frank left my toilet off and he LEFT.. The manager believed him & offered me a $50 discount which I thought was very nice. He would send Frank back out to complete job. While Frank was gone I called another plumber to get 2nd estimate, low & behold Frank had lied to me & his boss. I didn't need to bust out any cement. $35 in parts & $150 labor to a honest plumber, he was done in less than an hour. I gave this guy a tip. I called Franks manager back & told him that his guy lied to both of us... Always get a second estimate...

They over charge 5 times other plumbers. They did inferior work and what they did had to be redone. It wasn't up to code. They put in an inferior clean-out drain. They lied several times saying it was urgent that it needed to be done that night. I paid $2260.00 for a clean-out they said I needed which needed to be replaced because it wasn't up to code. I hired them to snake the drain which they tried to do. That was fine. I offered to pay them $99.00 for their attempt to clear the drain. But they had talked me into signing two Visa for $2260. They dug a hole and replaced the the clean-out drain, that was inferior. That is all they did for $2260.00 They took advantage of a single elder women that knew nothing about plumbing. They should not get by with such dishonest practices. I told then the inferior drain was at the side of house and they could pick it up anytime. Sonya B

Prices are outrageous. A simple one hour installation of a faucet cost me $266. Dispatcher will not quote prices though the workers use a fixed cost no matter what the job. My particular installation was book priced at over $300 but the installer gave me a ""discount."" I've paid $80-100 per hour for a plumber and think that that cost is reasonable. $266 for an hour is outrageous. Next time, I'll find a local guy who's an honest hourly rate.

While I was out of town my son flushed something down the toilet. I being gone was unable to fix the problem so she called Discount Plumbing. Let me first say the only ""Discount"" is the service you will get! The ""plumber"" and I use this term lightly tried to sell my wife a new toilet for $700.00 first, then explained it wasn't a normal problem that could be fixed in a timely matter. Would take a couple hours to pull reset the toilet to clear object and would cost $850.00 with a membership! $850 for 2hrs of work? That's over $400 an hr!! Are you kidding me?!? She showed them the door and called another local PLUMBER and he was able to pull the car out in 5minutes for 50.00. What a joke!! Be aware after some research it appears that a new owner who has a sour reputation in the community has taken over this company and has changed it for the bad.
