Our new faucet can be unscrewed and easily replaced. We tested it and wa-la. No leaks, fits my expandable hose and my plants thank you!

Had a drain clog that could not be accessed to run clean-out. 4 feet of metal pipe was removed and replaced with pvc pipe with clean-out. Line was then cleared. In addition to the base charge of $169 for drain clear and 50 feet clean-out, the placement of 4 feet of pvc with clean-out access cost an additional $300, for a total of $469. A non-discount plumbing company has stated this should not have been in excess of $250. Total job was accomplished within one hour, on-site.

I had him come look at the leaking fitting from the hose to the hose reel in the garage. Since I had to pay about $80 just for him to come out, I let him fix it. He charged me $550! But one week later, that connection is not just leaking, but a steady stream of water is coming from the valve when I use the hose. I called them to return. They have ONLY a 30 day guarantee.

Their web site says ""free estimates"". Don't believe it! They have a trip charge. How convenient. I got a verbal estimate of $1400 plus tax to replace shower faucets (valve assembly). I said I was going to get another bid; so the WRITTEN ESTIMATE was over $1600. What a rip.

Our first discount plumbing experience was absolutely wonderful! Of course, it would be great to meet them under different circumstances, but that's the joy of home ownership!

Two nights ago, I walked into the main floor bathroom and noticed the tub full of dirty, black water. Ugh. We plumed it enough to get it to drain, snaked and dumped whatever drain chemicals down. Problem... not solved.

After showering this morning, the tub was filled with orange, rusty looking water. At least it smelled like my shampoo, if that's a silver lining.

Called Discount Plumbing right away and they showed up within a few hours. Even as an emergency response, they were reasonably priced! The tech was quick to fix it, and talked through some options to prevent clogs like this in the future.

All in all, I strongly recommend!

i called them for simple irrigation valve repair. i was provided the outrageous quote for $842 for that. obviously I didn't decide to go for repair. howver I was charged $55 for trip charge. it seems the purposefully quote higher prices. I got it fixed for $220 from home advisors. avoid if possible unless you get free estimate

One month ago, I called Discount Plumbing to snake my mainline. A guy came out, spent an hour and a half complaining about how hard it was to snake my mainline and how he should be charging me more for it. Then, yesterday, my mainline backed up again. I called another company based on a neighbor's recommendation and had the job done right. (Discount plumbing used a much smaller auger than the latest sewer cleaner.) Also, Discount said they would send a person out to put a camera in the mainline, but no one ever showed up once the appointment was scheduled. I will definitely not be using this company again and do not recommend them to anyone else.

All I can say for this business is that my experience was FANTASTIC!!! I have been in my home for almost 22 years and had several different jobs done, including plumbing and have never been so pleased, as I was with the work done by Clint. He had to remove a difficult ""clog"" in addition to repairing some damage done by another company, which attempting to do what Clint did so well! Clint also laid down protection/coverings and did not leave any kind of mess for this 77 year old ""Senior"" to clean up!
