While the work performed has no issues, the customer service to get to that point is horrendous.

I was connected with Discount Drain Service through my home warranty company after filing a claim. The original appointment set through the claim process was not convenient so I called Discount Drain directly to reschedule. They have all their calls routed through an answering service. I left 4 messages and not once did they ever call me. After explaining the issue to the answering service they give me a direct line. I finally got a hold of Donna at Discount Drain. She told me she needed to talk with the actual plumber to reschedule and for ME to call her back later that evening to confirm it had been rescheduled to my requested time. I expect a service provider to call me back not the other way around.

The technician still arrived during the original window and not to the time rescheduled. I managed to get home to let him do the work regardless.

A few days pass and we notice the issue is still not resolved. So I open the claim back up with my warranty company which they sent me a note saying Discount Drain would be calling me to schedule a follow-up. No call ever occurred. I had to call them days later and was scheduled (via the answering service) for Saturday 8 AM to 8 PM and that I would get a call 1 hour before arrival. After waiting 12 hours no one ever called nor showed up.

The following day I called Donna back directly (took almost 12 calls before she answered), and all she had to say was "sorry" and they will talk to the technician. She was not willing to take any ownership in the mishap. She then rescheduled me for the next day between 9 AM and 11 AM.

As I write this review it is an hour and a half beyond that window. I have been unable to get a hold of Discount Drain, no one has shown up, and no one has attempted to call me.

I have since made a formal complaint with the home warranty company recommending they drop Discount Drain as a service provider and will never do business again with Discount Drain Services.

If you are experiencing issues with Discount Drain Services, the direct line I was provided is 214-468-4667. The number they provide on their business card is only ever answered by the answering service who can only take a message.

Assigned by Choice Home Warranty.
Had a gas leak so gas company come and shut off the gas. This guy came on Tuesday did some pre-check and didn't fix the issue, saying need dispatch from office. I called "Office" more than 5 times on Wed every time log my name # and address and "will call you back" but never called me back.
Ended up staying in hotel with no gas at home. Will never use this company.

After trying to get a hold of a few places with no luck, Jerrell from Discount Drain Service called me right back and was at our house within a couple of hours. They were able to clear our blockage very quickly and showed me what was going on with a camera/scope, as they did it. Jerrell and his assistant were very pleasant and professional. Thanks, guys!

Called Discount Drain to come out to take a look at my pipes, Their VP came out, named Wilkinson. Said there was no indication of cracks on my pipes but looked like a might have a belly in one of them. Went on his whole sales pitch on how they could fix it and even said they would cover my deductible once I made in insurance claim. This already sounded like a scam to me. So I just paid him for the inspection and told him I would think about it. A week later I called the company to get a summary of what he inspected. They told me they would contact the technician that came out to get that from him. Minutes later the VP Wilkinson text's me saying I should have not had contacted the company that i should have contacted him first, needles to say he wouldn't give me a summary of his work. Sounds like he was trying to commit insurance fraud by hoping I would make a claim.

DO NOT trust this company!
I have called my insurance company - American Water resources and asked for service - water leak in front of my house. Discount drain service was assigned for repair. After waiting patiently for seven days - all the time i had a pond of water in front of my house, technician came and checked sewer??? Water leak was clearly coming from incoming pipe.
Technician told me that sewer is fine, he can not do anything about water leak, another technician will be in within two or three days to fix the problem. Two and half months and about 50 calls to company later - nobody ever called me back - another technician came (Jesus Martinez) stopped leak and installed plastic pipe (garden hose type), covered it with duck tape and told me that he disconnected my sprinkler system because it was a leak on my water back flow prevention valve. My valve is above ground and during two and a half months period I was checking daily for leaks: THERE WAS NO LEAK FROM WATER BACK FLOW PREVENTION VALVE AT ALL! Leak stated suddenly when he installed plastic pipe (garden hose with faucet on top of it for garden hose connection. It did not okay to me so I called Discount drain service - again 20 calls in five days, finally Anthony (owner) called me back. I explained to him whole history, did not get even apology. Since I was told by his tech that my water back flow prevention valve is bad, I purchased part, Anthony - owner said that he will send some to replace wrongly installed hose and place water back flow prevention valve. Tech (Jesus) came in today, placed copper hose with faucet and told that his boss told him to charge me $350.00 for water back flow prevention valve installation. I tried to call Anthony while tech was here, there was no answer or returned call of course. This company clearly:
1. Is sending people out to do the job, those people clearly have no idea what they are doing!
2. While trying to fix stuff, they break another stuff and ask customer to pay for something what was clearly not broken before they stared repair.
3. They just want to be paid by customer one way or another!
4. Owner is master plumber - at least he says he is, mater plumber should know way more about plumbing and definitely at least train people coming out to "fix" problem!
5. After two and half months wait, I'll call real plumber and fix it.
Do not waist your time and money calling Discount Drain Service, your problem will not be fixed and you will wait indefinitely!

If there was a less the 1 I would give them that. The tech came out and cleared the drain and told us that is it happened again there was a warranty. Well what ever he did didn't fix the problem and I called back. They set up a 4 different appointments and never showed up to honor their warranty.

My mother in law was referred to this company by her home warranty. A week later I found a rubber glove tied around the pipe where a cap screw is missing. To state the obvious, that isn't a professional solution. Would not recommend them at all.

discount drain service company are a rip off they file fraud claims they are not professionals they take your service fee and do not fix your problem, do not use this company for any type of service.

Discount drain was sent to us by our Home warranty company to fix a clog in a toilet. They didn't even fix the clog, but instead only focused on pointing out that we had a break in a fitting in our line.
Yes we ended up having a faulty fitting at a separate location, but they didn't even fit the first problem. They left us with an estimate on the bigger repair and failed to even fix the clog. That night our house flooded when running the washing machine because of the clog in the toilet line That They failed to address, causing more damage and repairs.
They were only concerned on finding a bigger repair job for them. On the initial visit they wanted me to get our Home owners insurance claim going and to sign a work order before talking to my adjuster. When I said that I wasn't going to sign anything without talking to my insurance first etc. They were mad and kept asking why. Once they knew I wasn't going to budge they hurried and packed up and left.
Don't use these guys as they are only looking to line their pocket book. Total rip off.

This company was assigned by Choice Home Warranty for a claim on a clogged drain. Edgar came within the scheduled window despite having to negotiate Friday rush hour traffic and was very courteous and professional. He resolved our clog and offered advice on maintenance to avoid future drain stoppages.
