The sewer line of my main residence had recently experienced a main line backup. Walter examined the situation by camera, saw that my line was pretty damaged at various points by massive pine tree roots pressing against the line.

The price was reasonable to replace all of the damaged line, and replace the shutoff to my water line that I felt was too rusted out. The roots even screwed up the slope of the line, which Walter's guys made much better and now it has a much smoother flow when water and waste enters the pipe.

These guys worked long and hard to get the job done, while always being careful to avoid any damage to the water line, which was running very close to the sewer line.. He even sent in the secret weapon, Miguel, better known in plumbing circles as 'el leon de Tijuana,' to handle the backfill portion of the work. Having numerous investment properties in town, I've used a lot of vendors over the years and I would not hesitate in using Walter's crew again.

Long story short called another company had them come out to unclog drain $3000 dollar estimate later I decided to call discount drain Walter came out fixed our problem at a fair reasonable price. I've had this company out twice (totally separate times and about a year apart.) but have also spoken to them on the phone. They are TOP NOTCH! I'm always very skeptical when hiring Plumbers and it's a little nerve wracking but they make it easy. They are honest and friendly. They have taken care of us like we are family!

Discount Drain Cleaning saved me thousands of dollars by giving me an honest, fast, and professional inspection of my sewer pipes. When other companies were quick to claim I needed thousands of dollars of repairs, Walter was able to diagnose the issue and give a much more reasonable response, and even offer alternatives to the competition that would cost less and do less damage to the house in the case more serious repairs were needed (which were not in my case. If i ever need plumbing work again, I will not hesitate to call.

Walter gave me good advice about not putting egg shells and flushable wipes (they don't break down) down the drain. He was very professional and showed me exactly what he was doing and why. I made the mistake of having another company, that drain cleaning wasn't their main business, come out to access my blocked drain. I wasted 2 hours negotiating prices with them and realized they instilled no confidence in their work. He showed up not having any equipment on his van to do the drain cleaning job. Their prices were 3 to 4 times higher that Discount Drain Cleaning plus they miss diagnosed the problem and charged $69.00 to do so.

I am so impressed with the company. Walter, Leo and Matt were very professional, prompt and helpful. I had a broken tub drain which displaced my renters and they quickly assessed the problem and fixed it.
