I had a slab leak in my plumbing. I am a fairly experienced home remodeller and had already eliminated the other possibilities for my high water usage. I called the office to arrange an inspection and explained I was 90% sure it was a slab leak. $125 trip charge, but that would be credited to the bill if I had them do the work. First guy TJ shows up without the equipment needed to detect a slab leak, and proceeds to check everything I already said i checked. But agrees with me that it's probably a slab leak and says $600-800 depending on how much he ""has to chase it"" once they start. I say ok do it. But he's not there to do it, just inspect. Surprised and disappointed that no work would be done and I would have to schedule for the following week. Why would they send someone out who wasn't prepared to do the work, and didn't even have the right equipment. But they came recommended from a friend so I still agree for the following week.

Following week comes, Jake and a helper/apprentice show up to do job. I tell them exactly where I think the leak is as there was previous work in that area. Jake breaks up one tile and immediately finds the leak. His apprentice comments how easy that was as he was expecting a big hole to find the leak. Jake is using his hands to scoop out broken up tile and i warn him to use gloves as I've worked with tile and it's sharp. He says he's fine, but then cuts himself and has to go wrap his hand. Twice! He first attempts to solder joint but says it's not working so he has to replace a couple connections. Done in a couple hours, leak fixed, poured one bag of concrete back on hole to repair slab. That'll be $800 please. I'm like excuse me, you said $600-800 depending on ""how much you had to chase it"". You literally found the leak in under 10min, no chasing.

So my average review is not for the quality of work, I think they did a nice job and were professional and pleasant. My review rating is that I felt like it was a bait and switch. How could it be at the top range of the price if it was an easy fix?

I was in a pinch and needed to get some plumbing work done for our bathroom remodel. I called TJ, and told him what needed to be done. I sent him a few pictures and he got me on the schedule for the next day. The technician was very friendly and did an excellent job. I'm glad to know that I now have a reliable and honest plumber that I can now count one.

These guys are great. They helped me threw my bathroom remodel and did all the plumbing I requested. Andy came out and was great to work with. He answered all my questions, did good work and was very organized. All for a fair price. I would recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

After calling another plumber for a flooding emergency in the evening. I am so thankful I called and spoke to Brett before allowing the other company to do any work.

The other plumber Ranger Rooter was NOT able to assist me that evening and told me they would need to come back in the morning with a camera. They did arrive and found a blockage in my pipes 16ft down. I was told I needed hydro jetting to unclog the pipe at the cost of $1,700.00. We had a detailed conversation about the age of my pipes and that it was possible all new internal pipes needed to be replaced at the cost of up to $20,000. At only 16ft down I don't know why we even needed to have that conversation. Thank heavens they did not have the equipment needed to do the hydro jetting.

I called Dirt Dog who we use at my office and spoke to Brett about my situation. Gained a lot of knowledge in a 15 minute conversation and he put my mind at ease about what i had been told from the other company. They were available that day. I paid that other company $200.00 for nothing. I wasn't aware Dirt Dog had after hours service or I would have called them to behind with. Dirt Dog was able to unclog my pipe with just a snake. Hydro jetting not necessary and my pipes were in great condition. The cost was less than $500.00.

With all the turmoil in the world today I am truly grateful for their honesty, knowledge and professionalism.

I was so happy with the work today by Jake and co-worker. A water pipe burst last night, I called several other plumbers who were either closed for the 4th or leaving early. Luckily Dirt Dog has availability. They repaired the pipe within a few hours. Thanks again for the incredible service.

Called Brett at 6pm since the main water valve to my house got stuck shut - NO WATER!! Within 1 hour his tech Andy showed up and fixed it with a new ball valve in less than 1/2 hour!! Wow!! Kudos and Great Service!!!!

These are the only guys in town I could find that seem to know anything about tankless water heaters. After looking at my old one we decided replacement was a better option. These guys were great. Very professional and reasonably priced.

After talking to the owner on the phone, I appreciated how honest he was about pricing. He gave me options and I felt no pressure to schedule or decide immediately.

The next day, I called Dirt Dog back and they were able to fit us into their busy schedule the same day. I got a courtesy call as promised as to when I could expect them.

TJ arrived on time, if not a little bit early. He was very professional, friendly and informative. He quickly fixed the issue and asked if I had any other concerns regarding plumbing. At the time, I said no.

That evening I realized that I was supposed to have another leak fixed and failed to tell TJ. I called TJ and he offered to come back the following day without any hesitation.

We really appreciate the way Dirt Dog runs their business. Customer service and HONESTY goes a long way. Very refreshing to know there are still business like Dirt Dog around. They will be our go-to plumber from now on.

Our water heater blew this morning and when I called Dirt Dog they said they could be over in 30 minutes. They replaced my water heater in just over an hour and were very reasonable. TJ was great and I am so happy to have hot water again. Awesome and quick service. This is our 3rd time using them and I will definitely call them again.
