Stupid us 2 50 something year old dykes thought we would get fancy and install one of them new bidet faucet thingys and in our defense it said """"easy install"""" well of course we had to call dipple cause water was squirting everywhere afterwe thought we had it fixed up! Mike and Eric and all the regulars know when the dispatcher tells them our address we are usually trying to mess with something we should not have so tonight Mike came to our rescue! He is apretty cool fella! Thanks Dipple from your loyal customers for several years now!

I disagree with Diane S. For the last couple of years, we have been using Dipple for our spring and fall inspections and have not experienced what Diane S. experienced. We recently had a completely new heat pump system installed. Our home is only 11 years old and the original system failed because it was made up off incompatible units. We soon became disenchanted with the original installer and used several companies to conduct the annual inspections. All were suspect and none could identify why the original system kept causing us problems. Dipple identified the problem, but they recommended we wait for a while before replacing the old system. Finally it failed and we had no choice but to replace it. Dipple was much more conscientious about installing the right system than was the original installer. We were very pleased with the quote, the explanation regarding what we could expect, and the quality of the installation.

Fantastic service! Craig Bishop came (12/19) to do my routine Fall/Winter equipment check (4 units) and discovered one had a cracked heat exchanger and another was highly questionable (both very old units - 23y.o.). He called Mason Davis, who came that afternoon to review and we determined one unit had to be replaced and the other probably should. We discussed options, capabilities, and costs, and timeframes the units could be replaced. We also discussed moving the thermostats to different locations to overcome some issues in uneven temps in parts of the house. I had Christmas company arriving in 4 days, and all bedrooms would be full! Mason was able to obtain the needed equipment and a crew (Merritt, Hunter, & Chad Martin) to install, starting the next day (12/20)! They finished the following day (12/21). Everything worked perfectly. Two weeks later (1/5), Craig came to check everything over and perfect or fine-tune a couple of things. Great quality control follow-up. I think they be considered pricy by some, but given the quality of their personnel, responsiveness, and ability to pay large bills over 60 months (no interest), they are well worth using.

Overall, I was very pleased with Dipple Plumbing. The service technicians, Adam and Nathan, were very helpful and did a good job, they were very professional. The next day I had a question about the charges, which were explained, and the issue was resolved. I'm giving them 4 stars only because there is always room for improvement.

Absolutely atrocious experience. I had Dipple come out to my business to look at a hot water heater in one section of the building they quoted me to have it removed and replace it. After discussing the fact that we don't actually use hot water in that section of the building I was assured that it would be safe to simply turn the unit off. They did not charge me to have the unit turned off, however I assumed that was due to the many other times I have hired them in the past. I would have gladly paid whatever was needed to safely disconnect this unit. 7 months later, this unit started an electrical fire that could have risked the lives of my team and my business because despite the fact that the hot water was turned off, the power to the unit was not. Billy West, the manager and technician that made the error was extremely combative from the beginning to the end of the call, no apologies, no attempt to make the situation better at all. Not even an offer to discount the service to remove my torched hot water heater that will now be required because of their error. It was no longer an option to leave it because of the pungent smell of fire. Billy's only response was that I couldn't prove someone else hadn't flipped the breaker back on, which I know with certainty did not happen. However, this is really irrelevant because if he had disclosed to me that if someone simply flipped the wrong switch that unit would become active again and dangerous, I would have had it removed in the first place. This was confirmed by the company I hired to come fix the problem after the fact who immediately stated """"This should have never been turned off and left active on a breaker regardless of whether or not they flipped the breaker. That's exactly how electrical fires start"""". This is truly the worst and most dangerous customer service I have ever experienced. Billy couldn't even bring himself to offer simple niceties like """"I'm sorry to hear that happened"""". Their actions could have leveled a business that has been in Greenville for 35 years.

Both our air con units went out on Friday, 7/14 (one of hottest days yet this year)...I jumped online and searched for after hours support as we have 2 young kids and just moved to S.C. from California where it's much cooler & a broken down AC wouldn't be that big of a deal. I got a call from Craig on Friday night saying he'd come no matter how late to help us. His last call before us turned out to take a lot more time than anticipated & a major storm passed through at the same time. He constantly stayed in touch with me and let me know his status. We finally agreed he'd come as soon as possible the next morning as he'd been working for 14+ hours and was in obvious need of some rest. In short, Craig is a true professional who was helpful, kind and extremely knowledgeable about our problem. He was so good we decided to sign up for a service agreement with Dipple, Inc...I can't say enough good things about Craig. He even called back later in the day to make sure the house had cooled down!! You just don't get service like that anymore...to say I was impressed is an understatement. We look forward to a long term relationship with Craig & Dipple, Inc. -Mark

I researched HVAC contractors to find a good one to service my AC units. Dipple was Trane Comfort Specialist so decided to go with them. First call was a joke. The lady who answered the phone was clueless. She didn't even know what a AC tune up was. I was so frustrated, I decided to hang up and call back later. After second call Ms. Clueless I guess recognized my voice and put someone on who was very professional. Quoted me special $89/ each for my two units. Made appointment for one week out at 3-5PM on Monday. That day came, and they called me in the morning saying there was """"forecast of rain"""" that afternoon and they would have to reschedule to next day at 3-5pm. mmm well, OK. At 2:44pm on the next day, another call """"running 2 hours late, be there latest 430-5PM"""" I asked if that was enough time to do the two hour job? Said ok.. Well 5PM came and went. Finally at 6:30PM I called and the lady on the phone had not record of the 2:44pm call, and no clue about my service. She called me back at close to 7PM, and said """" the service manager will send out someone now free of charge"""". I said it was getting dark, so how are they going to do work in the dark? She said no problem? yeah right. STRIKE 3. I told her I was was totally disappointed with their lack of professionalism, and why would I want an organization working on my house who could not even schedule a simple service call? I would not use Dipple if they paid me. Disorganized and uprofessional. I am surprised they have the Trane designation also.

Never would I use them again. They come to do annual service and find a million things wrong on a new system that they put in. Came with a +700 bill. they work on commission so of course going to find a million things wrong. Also put in an undersized unit that does not cool in the summer. They are maybe trying to do to many things. Prices are high. Will never call them again as I have to replace a brand new unit with someone else so I can be comfortable in the summer hear

ok i understand its a company and need to make money on jobs they do as i am in a service business myself but ??? soi get on angies list and i am contacted by dipple so first i am told no charge to come look and than i am charged to come out and the guy looks around and tells me that he doesnt see a water leak anywhere and the equipment to try and hear the leak under ground is a thousand dollars and it wont work... we will need to replace the whole pipe from water meter to house he estimated it was about 14 hundred feet and if they hit any other water lines they were responsable ,,, but he couldnt give me a quote he had to check prices and he would e-mail it too me ... so i get the e-mail when i get home from work which i had to take the morning off to meet dipple, so i open the e-mail and the estimate was just under 10,000 dollars .. so i started looking online to price things out and see if this was resonable for the work here is what i came up with , #1 found the pex line 12 hundred feet more than i neededand shipped $599.80 #2 fittings , rings, new regulator, new shut off valve , $250.00 #3 rental for a trenture , i was told this had to be done with an excavator,, not true ... $298.00 so parts for this job was a total of $ 1,147.80 so this left about 8,000 dollars for labor , was told it would take 3 days atleast to finish this job , not true i did this whole job in 8 hours by myself , trenched , dropped the pipe in and hooked it up and covered it up.. so 8 hours of work would be 1000.00 dollars an hour this was a total scam of them trying to get my money , maybe they think im stupid and if i had to call them i didnt know anything about it , i would just pay them to do it .... dont get me wrong its a business and they need to make money but that kind of money was just way over priced and the reason i had them come out was because i didnt want to do it myself not that i couldnt pay or didnt know how ,,

Caution! Dipple made a service call at my home in response to my call that I had no heat. The service tech got my system working by correcting an electrical short that caused a perforated refrigerant line. Contrary to company policy he neglected to inform me of the cost in advance. Had I known that my bill would be $2188.00. I would have told them, no thanks. The bottom line is he spent 3.5 hours working on my system. That works out to a rate of $570 per hour plus refrigerant. When I called the service manager for an explanation he informed me that they charge a flat rate. It doesn't matter if it's 4 hours or 12 the rate is the same. I did manage to get a partial refund but I will not use Dipple again.
