Three weeks waiting for Dipple to repair a Trane split unit they installed four years ago. No heat in the house for three weeks. Now they have decided the compressor they installed as a replacement for when it first failed in 2016 has gone bad. Poor communication, poor service, poor quality products. I am disgusted a spent $11,000 for a system that is constantly breaking down. No heat for three weeks with no relief in sight. Update: after being told by Bill the operations manager that he was pushing Trane for a complete replacement, he then tells me to call Matt the Trane rep. Matt states to me that Dipple refused to give him an opportunity to replace the unit. He stated since they dropped Dipple they closed their account and have no way to send them a unit. I share this back with Dipple and then get a call from Bill saying he refuses to service my unit from now on. In other words, we made our money off you and don't stand behind our product we sold you. Let the buyer beware I guess but also in business, one bad review costs. Business 10 lost sales, let the next 10 customers be wary.

We sold our house and closed on it yesterday (5/30/18). Some of the items to be repaired were electrical and we had a licensed electrician come out yesterday morning to make the repairs noted by the home inspector . An electrician from Dipple Plumbing had come out on 12/1/15 to repair a fluorescent light fixture and he recommended we have a whole house surge protector installed. The home inspector found where something was wired to a 50 amp double breaker. That something was the surge protector. The wrong sized wire was connected to a 50 amp double breaker - 10 gauge and 12 gauge wire were spliced together with the 12 gauge wire connected to the surge protector. The electrician fixed it yesterday. We paid $495.00 to have a surge protector improperly installed. The 50 amp double breaker was at one time connected to an electric hot water heater that we no longer have. We will never use Dipple Plumbing for anything ever again.

Had a slow running shower drain and a leaking faucet. Their technician was at our house approximately 2 hours. He put some chemical down the slow running drain and told us we needed new faucets for the sink. I have no problem diagnosis. Our charge was $59 for the service call (fair enough) and Level 4 service $449, Ring that bell for $508.

The technician (Justin Howard) was prompt, courteous and professional. I have found my HVAC and plumbing company for life.

They were able to set up installation for my new hvac very quickly during hot summer weather. They sent multiple trucks and men to complete the job and all were very clean, professional, and courteous. Communication, email, and warranty was all taken care of fast and professionally by the office. Will use again.

Fantastic service! Craig Bishop came (12/19) to do my routine Fall/Winter equipment check (4 units) and discovered one had a cracked heat exchanger and another was highly questionable (both very old units - 23y.o.). He called Mason Davis, who came that afternoon to review and we determined one unit had to be replaced and the other probably should. We discussed options, capabilities, and costs, and timeframes the units could be replaced. We also discussed moving the thermostats to different locations to overcome some issues in uneven temps in parts of the house. I had Christmas company arriving in 4 days, and all bedrooms would be full! Mason was able to obtain the needed equipment and a crew (Merritt, Hunter, & Chad Martin) to install, starting the next day (12/20)! They finished the following day (12/21). Everything worked perfectly. Two weeks later (1/5), Craig came to check everything over and perfect or fine-tune a couple of things. Great quality control follow-up. I think they be considered pricy by some, but given the quality of their personnel, responsiveness, and ability to pay large bills over 60 months (no interest), they are well worth using.

Over priced. Made an appointment and waited 2 hours for them and just before they were supposed to come out the called and told me it was going to be $1000 minimum and asked if I still wanted them to come out. If you want honest and upfront pricing try RR instead.

Absolutely atrocious experience. I had Dipple come out to my business to look at a hot water heater in one section of the building they quoted me to have it removed and replace it. After discussing the fact that we don't actually use hot water in that section of the building I was assured that it would be safe to simply turn the unit off. They did not charge me to have the unit turned off, however I assumed that was due to the many other times I have hired them in the past. I would have gladly paid whatever was needed to safely disconnect this unit. 7 months later, this unit started an electrical fire that could have risked the lives of my team and my business because despite the fact that the hot water was turned off, the power to the unit was not. Billy West, the manager and technician that made the error was extremely combative from the beginning to the end of the call, no apologies, no attempt to make the situation better at all. Not even an offer to discount the service to remove my torched hot water heater that will now be required because of their error. It was no longer an option to leave it because of the pungent smell of fire. Billy's only response was that I couldn't prove someone else hadn't flipped the breaker back on, which I know with certainty did not happen. However, this is really irrelevant because if he had disclosed to me that if someone simply flipped the wrong switch that unit would become active again and dangerous, I would have had it removed in the first place. This was confirmed by the company I hired to come fix the problem after the fact who immediately stated """"This should have never been turned off and left active on a breaker regardless of whether or not they flipped the breaker. That's exactly how electrical fires start"""". This is truly the worst and most dangerous customer service I have ever experienced. Billy couldn't even bring himself to offer simple niceties like """"I'm sorry to hear that happened"""". Their actions could have leveled a business that has been in Greenville for 35 years.

I disagree with Diane S. For the last couple of years, we have been using Dipple for our spring and fall inspections and have not experienced what Diane S. experienced. We recently had a completely new heat pump system installed. Our home is only 11 years old and the original system failed because it was made up off incompatible units. We soon became disenchanted with the original installer and used several companies to conduct the annual inspections. All were suspect and none could identify why the original system kept causing us problems. Dipple identified the problem, but they recommended we wait for a while before replacing the old system. Finally it failed and we had no choice but to replace it. Dipple was much more conscientious about installing the right system than was the original installer. We were very pleased with the quote, the explanation regarding what we could expect, and the quality of the installation.

I researched HVAC contractors to find a good one to service my AC units. Dipple was Trane Comfort Specialist so decided to go with them. First call was a joke. The lady who answered the phone was clueless. She didn't even know what a AC tune up was. I was so frustrated, I decided to hang up and call back later. After second call Ms. Clueless I guess recognized my voice and put someone on who was very professional. Quoted me special $89/ each for my two units. Made appointment for one week out at 3-5PM on Monday. That day came, and they called me in the morning saying there was """"forecast of rain"""" that afternoon and they would have to reschedule to next day at 3-5pm. mmm well, OK. At 2:44pm on the next day, another call """"running 2 hours late, be there latest 430-5PM"""" I asked if that was enough time to do the two hour job? Said ok.. Well 5PM came and went. Finally at 6:30PM I called and the lady on the phone had not record of the 2:44pm call, and no clue about my service. She called me back at close to 7PM, and said """" the service manager will send out someone now free of charge"""". I said it was getting dark, so how are they going to do work in the dark? She said no problem? yeah right. STRIKE 3. I told her I was was totally disappointed with their lack of professionalism, and why would I want an organization working on my house who could not even schedule a simple service call? I would not use Dipple if they paid me. Disorganized and uprofessional. I am surprised they have the Trane designation also.
