Established in 2007, DiPietro Heating Cooling Plumbing serves the Merrimack Valley and surrounding areas. DiPietro is equipped with a team of licensed installers and a 24/7 service department to fulfill your HVAC needs.

Recommended Customer Reviews
They did a good job on installation. Apparently their company warranty is 1 yr. The unit has a 10 yr warranty.9 days after Dipietro's warranty expired my unit which is a combo boiler/water heater $12,000 was sporadic on hot water. I called the company and customer service is where my 1 star comes in. The said their warranty expired. I told them that this had been happening for about 1-2 weeks and thought the problem would work itself out. There was no consideration for the 9 days they clearly just wanted their money. Very disappointed that I would have to pay $125 for them to come out and then have to pay a labor fee also. It's not as if the unit was installed 2 years ago as I said it was only 9 days. Any reputable business would have come out ordered the part and fixed it. I would not recommend this company due to the customer service end which is part of the reason anyone would pay that kind of money. This company will nickel and dime you.
We used them through a recommendation for the MassSave Program and I would not recomment them. They first told us that the rebate would go to them for final payment however when they were done with the installation, they would not give us the paperwork to submit to MassSave until we paid the balance. They had to come back to fix a leak and told us that if it happens again then they would replace the pipes, which is what they should have done in the first place according to the person who came. Well it happened again, I called the person who came and put in a service call, that was back in November, and we never heard from them again.
Dorene M.Installer showed up 90 min later than scheduled. Asked what we could do regarding the amount of water in our basement, he said ""sorry nothing he could do about it"". Found this rather unacceptable that he couldn't have helped with wet vac or something. After installation of brand new system, we still had NO HOT WATER for almost 24 hrs. Called DiPietro as soon as they opened at 7a, they had installer call back. Installer said he would be to our home, however, failed to show until 9:40a. We found this service to be completely unacceptable for what we paid for a brand new system. I would be quite hard pressed to ever call DiPietro Heating and Cooling ever again.
Deb M.My ""Great"" rating is for Evan McCrillis. He is very professional, understanding and knowledgeable. He listens intently while trying to evaluate the potential problem. We have a 5 year old Rinnai hot water/boiler system that is currently having issues and although it hasn't been solved, Evan is already preparing for the ""what ifs"". As for DiPietro Heating, I would rate this company as ""good"" - my calls are answered within the day I call and service arrives as soon as possible. With COVID-19, I am sure they are over-whelmed with safety issues and possibly being short staffed but are doing the best they can.
We are very disappointed with DiPietro. We had a cooling system installed a few years ago and it worked fine for the most part. However, the unit they installed in our great room never cooled the room. We have reached out to come up with a better solution and not getting a call back. We also have 4 ductless units that were serviced by DiPietro last spring and they are not working AT ALL (and we paid $350!!!). My husband has made many calls to customer service and is not getting a reply. Needless to say, we are going to seek a new HVAC company that values their customer's satisfaction. Very disappointed. I hope Joe sees this review and gets his act together.
I have a Fujitsu Mini split and last JULY I called Dipietro. They claimed they knew these systems and could resolve my issue. After 9 visits over 3 months and $1800 in bills I still do not have working system. Most of the time they spent here was on the phone with Fujitsu or the service manager. They replaced pc boards, controllers, a motor (actually broke several pieces in wall unit.
So I would not recommend them and I have no idea how to get these fixed and get my money back.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
I had an overall exceedingly poor experience with Dipietro Heating in the fall of 2019.
I met with the sales manager who surveyed my situation and heating system needs for a new high efficiency boiler with existing baseboard and signed a contract with them. They told me they could start the job in 3 wks, the beginning of October of 2019.
I then got a call from Dipietro saying that they could not complete the job until the end of November. This was after I had let the other contractors interested in the job go. I wasn't happy but agreed.
The head plumber came to my house on the day of the install and I then got a call at work saying they walked off the job. This left me high and dry AND cold. So not only did they make me wait in the middle of winter but they bailed on me. I later found out they had a big job in Boston. I was small potatoes.
Their lack of integrity in completing a job I had a contract for and poor communication with the very cooperative propane company was stunningly lame.
Along with many other complaints about Dipietro I have read on this site and others, I would not recommend Dipeitro for any of your heating and cooling needs. I later found out that my neighbor had a similar bad experience with Dipietro. Keep away. Poor business performance overall.
Yong K.Had a good experience with them. The ac unit initially had a problem but they came out and fixed it the next day. I've been using the mini duct system they installed for a couple of years now and it works great!
Carl D.Their HVAC consultant came out to take a look at our very old furnace after a Mass Save energy assessment, to see if it should be replaced with something more efficient. He walked though the benefits of upgrading from the current system, confirmed we'd be saving lots of money with a change, and explained the state's interest-free loan program. Part of that was also confirming that the new system would work just fine with our existing thermostat. Turns out ""just fine"" was exactly what he meant - we're actually not getting the savings unless we pay $500 to upgrade the thermostat as well, something we're not told until AFTER the new furnace is installed. Don't waste your time.
DO NOT USE! I have never experienced such horrible customer service. We were suggested to use them when going through the Mass Save program for a new heating system. We decided to convert from oil to propane and the installation was a horrible experience in April 2018. They tried to bait and switch us by not installing the way we agreed and tried to make us incur additional costs beyond what we agreed and took a loan out for. They never came back to fix our lawn that they damaged during the installation process. Fast forward to today, less than a year with their system - i have called their emergency service line 5 times from 6PM on and never once received a call back. I have now called 5 times since they have been open starting at 7AM and still have no resolution. Our house is without heat, prior to a storm and the best they told us was to buy space heaters and wait for the part in the mail. I have not been able to speak with a supervisor, they have not sent anyone here to check the system, and will not return my calls. I am SO disappointed and truly hope future customers steer clear!!! Heating systems costs a small fortune, we should all expect better service of these systems once installed and have a reliable company to call upon after such an investment. Horrible service, horrible products.
