I had to replace a sump pump recently. When I started looking at bids to do the work, Diaz construction was the first to respond. The estimate was reasonable, and Enrique got the pump and installed it just days after the estimate. I was amazed at how fast the work went. Something that would've been really difficult for me was very easy for a pro. I recommend Diaz construction.

This is the second big construction project we've had them do and once again we're thoroughly happy with how it turned out. Enrique is really easy to work with and he sticks with it until it's perfect. He had to bring in an electrician and a tile worker...both did an excellent job. Things always come up when you're doing a big project and it's the way it's handled that matters. We highly recommend their services.

We started out needing to replace the wood siding across the entire back of our house and some significant repairs to our deck...all due to water damage and dry rot. I contacted several contractors that had been recommended to me. After talking with a neighbor, they also suggested Diaz Construction...so I reached out to them as well. Due to my travel schedule, I needed to have them come out quickly for an assessment. They were very accommodating to my timing and made it convenient for me to meet with them.

Here's what made the difference for me.... Each contractor I met with looked around some and had their opinion on what needed to be done....and wide ranging prices. When Enrique (from Diaz) came out, he spent a lot of time with me to point out what he saw and different suggestions. He was the only one to get down on his belly and crawl underneath in to tight spaces for a closer inspection. He understood that we wanted a quality solution, with a necessity of staying within budget parameters. The bottom line was that I felt like he was going be extra careful and detailed about the work being done... and do it at a fair price. I have no doubt that any of the contractors I met with would have done good work....but a lot boils down to gut feel for the people you hire to work on your home. After whittling it down to 2 contractors, project updates and revised proposals, I hired Diaz for the job.

Of course, more dry-rot damage was revealed as we started to open things up, but Enrique kept me updated, offered options/suggestions and moved forward with what I approved. We entrusted them to fix our largest asset (our home), even feeling comfortable enough to give them a key to have access when we couldn't be there. And we required quality work, within an agreed upon timeline and fair pricing.

The net result was that my gut feel was right! Enrique and his crew from Diaz overdelivered for us and did an excellent job. I would strongly recommend them.

I have been in Marin since the early sixties. Our first home cost $34,000! I have used at least 15 or 20 construction firms over the years and had every sort of experience, from shoddy and downright dishonest to truly excellent. I put Enrique and his staff at Diaz Construction at the very top of my list. Number 1. they are pros, and know what they are doing 2. you can't fake customer appreciation, these guys take care of you, are there when they say they will be, honor their quotes, and are back in a flash to solve any minor problems that might pop up. 3. They are always friendly and easy going. Diaz Construction has been doing all of our construction projects since 2016, we would not use anyone else. They really are FIVE STAR! Photos show work they have done for us in Novato in last few years.

I was looking for a construction company who could handle some significant dry rot in a major support beam that supports the second level deck and roof of our home. So, definitely wanted someone I trusted. Heard about Diaz construction on the Nextdoor app and gave Enrique a call. He stopped by the same day and gave me various options to fix the problem. The next day I had a quote that was accurate, detailed and reasonable for the effort involved. Enrique showed up as planned the following week. His team was very efficient and quickly handled the fix as well as some additional dry rot found. The whole job was done in less then 3 days!!

I highly recommend calling Enrique he is very responsive and can be counted on to make sure you are happy with the work.

I have been blown away with the responsiveness, professionalism and the detail oriented care of Enrique Hernandez of Diaz Construction. I had connected him through Yelp messaging for a replacement of the top half portion of my toilet and I had no clue who I should call.
He was very responsive and detail oriented in his communications, always a good sign. He did that job and several other small jobs that I needed done, including replacing a bathroom faucet.
I can't recommend him more. He's also able to manage much larger construction jobs. But, it unusual to have someone detail oriented as well.
He seems to be able to figure out how mechanical things work, and can fix them as well.
