Loved that Hugo came with a mask and shoe protector as he came in my home. He checked my faucet pressure and installed a new toilet seat. He was on time and kept in touch with me as he purchased the necessary materials. He explained to me all the details; he talked respectfully to me and he completed the work efficiently. He was not afraid to go under my house to check the water lines!!! Yikes!!! His fees are reasonable and that is so important. He seems to love his job and shows pride with his work, his business and his employees. I'll recommend him anytime.

This review is long overdue. Hugo is super nice, extremely helpful, professional, punctual and he provides top quality work. He fixed our major clogged kitchen and bathroom. I would highly recommend him!!!

I called this firm to have my ice maker line disconnected from my fridge so that it could be moved temporarily, and to fix a very very slow leak around the threads at the end of the feed line for the sink in our bathroom. This was a one hour job at most, in my opinion. To make a long story short, they said they thought I needed to do a great deal more work than was, in my opinion, even remotely necessary. So after they made their pitch I asked them to leave, which they did. There was no charge for the visit. As with any contractor, customers need to be ready to push back when the estimate of the required work or cost doesn't seem to make sense. If you don't understand what they are saying because of the technical aspect, and if you haven't used them before so that you trust them, ask them to come back after you have time to consult somebody you trust, especially if the bill starts getting large (which for me is about $300 on a small job). By the way, my moving guys disconnected the water line for the ice maker in about 30 seconds, without incident. No extra charge. I will probably fix the other problem myself if time permits, or hire a different firm.

I have a clog with my outdoor patio plumbing (which is about 20-30 years old I am guessing). I was referred to Hugo by another plumbing company. Hugo came on time and friendly. He did a scope first to assess the problem and then he tried to snake it to clear the clog. Unfortunately the clog didn't get fixed not because Hugo didn't try, it's because the clog is probably too bad and it's further down the line. I am giving him a 5 stars b/c he was VERY polite, professional and patient. It's hard to find people like this nowadays. I would recommend him to anyone.

These guys are the best! So prompt, nice, intelligent and knowledgeable. They have saved me twice now. Unclogged my drain and installed a cleanout on my mobile home a month ago. Today i called with a different problem and Alfonso was here within half an hour. He also wears a mask and disposable shoe covers. Thank you!

Hugo was extremely helpful, especially during these times of social distancing. I called because my pilot light on the water heater continues to go out after lighting. I had replaced the thermocouple which didn't resolve the issue.

Then I bought a gas control valve to see if that would fix the problem. After realizing it would be easier to pay someone than replace it myself, I called some local plumbers. The first person I called quoted a lower price than Hugo but didn't seem as knowledgeable.

When I reached out to Diamond Plumbing & spoke with Hugo, I could immediately tell he'd be able to help. Hugo spent 10+ minutes on the phone asking questions to diagnose the issue. He even told me the process to replace the gas control valve in the event I wanted to save $. We discussed the precautions he would take entering my house because of COVID, & Hugo took all the necessary steps to protect himself & my family. Hugo also quoted me a price if we needed to replace the water heater. His price was only $100 higher than what my good friend (general construction) quoted for the job.

I'll for sure use Hugo moving forward, & would recommend him to anyone who asks.

Seeing my son's hands covered in black oily specks, after he washed his hands in his sink this morning, was disturbing beyond belief...My tub had been out of commission due to this same reason. During a pandemic who can you call for plumbing help? Hugo at Diamond Plumbing and Rooter!

I had tried a few places close to my home in San Ramon but understandably, I didn't receive a call back. I am sure they might be short staffed or had very valid reasons for otherwise being detained. I did however receive a call back from Hugo at Diamond Plumbing and Rooter. He sounded like he might be in the middle of dealing with a current job and called back about 20 minutes later, just as he said he would. He was at my house about 30 minutes after our call. Every single 5-star review is 100% accurate. I own a local small business... Maintaining this type of personal and professional reputation really takes hard work, care, dedication, patience, and a huge amount of integrity.

My water now runs clear! (Quite important to be able to wash our hands at this moment in time - stay safe everyone) One less thing for this mom to worry about. Thank you again!
