In 2009, we underwent a complete transformation and shifted to a residential servicing company, focusing on service, fixes, and replacements of residential and light commercial equipment. We aimed to provide the Treasure Valley with reliable and top-quality service, and we strive daily to meet and exceed our clients' expectations. Rick began his journey in the HVAC field during high school, working on ductwork for new builds. He married Sue Ellen shortly after graduation and continued in the trade for the next seven years until 1999, when he decided to launch his own company, Diamond Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric.

We had a new HVAC system installed by Diamond in April 2017. The furnace stopped working in December 2018. Diamond came out and charged us over $200 to fix it. Ridiculous! So much for standing behind their products.

Called Diamond after a scheduling issue with another company. These guys were on time, and executed my gas fireplace service with professionalism and outstanding customer service. They put on booties before entering my home, laid down a work blanket in front of my fireplace and performed a full safety check and cleaning of the unit. They educated me on the unit, which was very helpful since I haven't had the fireplace serviced in 15 years. It was like having a family member help you out. I feel confident using my fireplace now, it looks better than the day I moved in (they cleaned the glass and vacuumed the inside) and I know it is safe to use. Thanks.

What could have been a terrible situation turned out ok during the hottest days of 2018. In late July, we called for service as the A/C seemed to have gone south. Diamond sent out a tech on. Friday PM. I was amazed that they responded on the same day, within hours.

The tech quickly found a complete evaporator coil failure and rapidly leaking coolant. Now with an 11 year old builder quality unit things didn't look good. A quick pencil out seemed to point to a $1500-$2200 repair. (Look up the cost for just a complete refill of the old R-22 coolant.) Add on the cost of rebuilding the housing for a new larger coil, removal and replacing the furnace unit and it began to look like it might be cheaper and easier to go with a new furnace and A/C. I requested price estimates on either option.

Rob, the ""comfort councilor""came out that same night. He was working the weekend shifts and quickly gave me both options. With my engineering background and some knowledge of HVAC prices, I felt he gave me honest and realistic price estimates. So the new option won the day over paying almost the same as a repair and still having an 11 year old furnace.

Now, the question was when could this be done. Being an honest guy he said, ""We are running a week and a half out with installations"". Yike, ""I said"" But he said Diamond could loan us a 10,000 BTU portable until the date of installation. They have quite a few loaners for this purpose and we could roll it between the bedroom and dining room/kitchen. Life Saver!!!! And since we would be gone to Alaska for most of that time, no great heat stroke for us.

On our return, the crew came and installed the whole new setup in 5 hours. Heaven can't be nicer than a perfectly running A/C and super quiet. Give a high 5 for Diamond. They were quick, professional and kept their word. We put them on for our yearly maintenance too.

I've been contracted with this company since it became clear that Access Heating & Cooling were not doing the jobs I called them out to do.
The last appointment, with Access, the technician sat in his truck on the phone the entire time. After going out there several times I finally told him I needed to leave and asked how much longer he would be. He said he was done and had me sign a paper. There was no charge because I had a maintenance agreement with them. Then I called Diamond and have been receiving superior service for the last 3 years. Consistent, complete service every time.

Hands down the absolute best HVAC company in the Treasure Valley! I can not say enough good things about this team! It first starts with The Legendary Ms. Laura on the phones! I called a bit panicked and I was greeted with ""It's a Wonderful Wednesday here at Diamond!"". She listened, asked questions and then dispatched a technician to come out immediately! She was truly the best part of my Wednesday!

My situation was a bit hairy. I had a cracked heat exchange and the bids and recommendations from two other companies who weren't making the cut with customer service or knowledge and I was really starting to worry. Ms. Laura was understanding and shared that they believe in doing the right thing for the customer and they wouldn't be charging me for the second opinion and comfort guarantee bid. Which, by the way, would have been worth the price if they had!

I needed the people of Diamond and they delivered honesty, integrity, and some of the best customer care I've seen in this valley period! Chris the technician came out, looked over my system and then sat down with me and went over all of his findings. He educated me on what was happening and what the next steps would be. He then paired me with the right Comfort Advisor according to my needs. The Good Robert Owen and his side-kick Cord came out the next day and much to my delight were absolutely fantastic!

Robert took the time to educate me, drawing diagrams and going over the breakdowns and bids. He not only heard my concerns but did a great job meeting my client communication needs. In addition to the FANTASTIC customer support their electronic correspondence is phenomenal! I was provided with text alerts, email communication and had access to my findings and bids within minutes.

Diamond will be my go to company from now on! The only name in the game as far as I'm concerned!!

We've been busy, otherwise we would have written a review right as the ""service"" from DHC was performed. We went through the bidding process, hired them, and ran into problem after problem. Our client's exact comments regarding DIAMOND HEATING & COOLING, ""We had to hire Western to fix all the mess ups with Diamond...they are idiots!"" Harsh statement, but our client was correct. We were VERY displeased with the way we were handled. We, of course will never look to DHC again.

Good, fast service is harder and harder to find these days so I was amazed at the service I got from Diamond. I had an appointment scheduled with another company (if I could remember the name it would surely be here). They never showed up and wouldn't answer when I called. I saw one of Diamond's vans, called the number, and five minutes after I hung up their guy was at my door. I explained my issue, he did more than I asked, really quick, and in less than 15 minutes I had AC again. You can probably find cheaper service but you definitely won't find faster or better. Simply amazing.

I needed a full HVAC service and monoxide testing. They were able to schedule me in a timely manner, where other HVAC companies where at least 3 weeks out. A full report was provided as well as excellent customer service both on the phone and in person. For the same price as other HVAC companies had quoted me, I was able to upgrade to their annual club membership which came in useful right away. I would definitely recommend them.

Best service ever! My AC stopped blowing cool air at 5pm. I didn't really notice until I went upstairs to put my kids to bed and it was hot and muggy in their rooms. So I called at 8:30pm, they were here at 9pm, and it was fixed by 9:20pm! I was amazed. The guy that fixed it had the part in his truck. It was great because my kids don't sleep well in the heat. I'm so grateful. I thought I would have to wait a few days. I am going to recommend them to all!
