I had a slow water leak on my ceiling from the upstairs bathroom. After opening up the ceiling, I realized it was coming from the shower drain. The water leak was slow (and I had another shower) so I knew I could wait to get it fixed. Due to the second floor location, I decided I wanted a professional plumber to come out. I called to schedule a quote assessment and spoke with Zane Fonseca (co-owner). He was very friendly and discussed costs and availability with me. The cost for labor/hr seemed very reasonable. He wasn't annoyed when I had to call back another day to reschedule my appointment to better fit my work schedule. I was the second call of the day which means the plumber comes after the first job is finished (which begins at 8am) and that can vary. I received a 30 minute phone call before the plumber arrived. However, I did not know I was going to have two plumbers coming until they arrived but it was beneficial. The two did an assessment and helped each-other get the job done quicker; One had to go to HomeDepot to get a few parts since the shower drain was old and a different size while the other cut the brass drain out. The two men that came were very polite and professional. It took just under 3 hours to make sure all was good and ran the shower for 15 minutes to check for no leaks. (It's been over a week and still no leaks, yay!) They cleaned up the space afterwards! I would use this company again. They do no do sheetrock but I know someone who can close up the space. I recommend opening up your ceiling before the plumber comes (have a bucket and rag towel on standby) so they have full access once they arrive.

Great service, knowledgeable and professional! I needed my main water value repaired and a secondary shut off valve installed. Arrived promptly, explained what they were doing, spoke to the water dept employee who came out to shut my water off--and then made sure everything was working properly once it was turned back on. I could not ask for anything more! I highly recommend.

I also thought for the work that was completed, the cost of repair was fair.

Would definitely recommend Fonseca and Griffin!

Ryan H. was super knowledgable, he knew the problem and knew how to fit it. He took his time, made sure everything was leak-free when he was done. Had a mask on and had shoe covers on every time he went inside our house. I trust them no problem. Not a single complaint!

3 stars was for their pricing. I strongly urge you to get a written estimate before you have them do any work.

I needed a main water shut off valve and secondary shut off valve installed.

First off the technician did a good job. He was there early and did the work that was asked. Where my issue is was I was quoted over the phone that the job would take an hour to complete and the valves I needed would cost about $25 and $55 +/- respectively.

As it turns out, I was charged for 1.5 hours for the labor and $33 and $91 for the valves. Where I was expecting to pay around $300 +/-, ended up being over $400.

The worst part about this was when I voiced my concerns over the costs, the owner came back with the typical now that you have paid me, I don't really care attitude.

For me, they have priced themselves out of any future work. But where they lost me as a customer was because the owner was too greedy to work with me on the cost of the mis-quoted valves. I own more than one residence and am purchasing rental property that will need work. Was it worth the $50?

My advice is do some competitive shopping as there there are a lot of plumbers out there who are just as good and cheaper.

Excellent customer service! Had them install gas line in our kitchen. Owner super helpful after I had called them because appliance installer said gas line needed to be moved because he couldn't push stove back as it was hitting the back stove leg. Owner came and turned out it just needed to be pushed back more, but he would have moved if needed. I definitely recommend them as they're affordable, friendly and easy to schedule quotes and work with.

Kevin came within the half hour he was supposed to. He quickly figured out the problem with the bath nozzle and he had the replacement part in his truck. He also diagnosed and fixed another plumbing problem we had saving us another service call fee. We were only without water for a very short time and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend Fonseca Plumbing to anyone.
