This is the worst hvac company I have ever dealt with. My home warranty co ONE GUARD sent this place to fix my ac almost 4 weeks ago. It is still not working. First they said it was Freon and put that in. Still not working. Back out said it was a part they had to order. Suppose to be here today. When they didn't show, called hvac company and was told part did not come in. All the while I am sitting in no ac with near 100 degree weather. They have no idea when part will be in. I don't know if home warranty companies get these people for cheap or what. But do know it's time to look around for other companies who will provide me with the service I PAY for.

This company is horrible! Between them and American Home Shield (home warranty company), I was without an air conditioner for 7 weeks (April 24 - June 7, 2018). Nobody made it a priority that we are experiencing very high temperature days earlier than normal here in Texas; therefore my family and I suffered through. And the customer service ....... what's that? They have none. When you talk to who ever answers the phone, they are rude and could care less that your air is broken. If I could rate them lower than one star, I would because they don't deserve it.

This company was who our home warranty sent us to for a water heater repair. It was over the weekend so we knew we had to wait until Monday. It said they would contact us within 4 business hours. We waited until Monday after lunch. Still did not contact us. We had to call them. The lady who answered the phone was completely and utterly rude and made excuses why they had not contacted us. After being on hold 3 times and 16 mins later she said they couldn't get out to see us for OVER A WEEK! That's ridiculous. She again was very rude and hung up when we said we would not be going with their company as we have a newborn who can't have freezing cold baths and heating the water on the stove is a pain after 2 days already doing so. We opted to change contractors and so glad we did after reading the reviews from this company on Yelp and Google. Would NOT recommend.

As with others, this company was sent out by my home warranty. First it took them a long time to contact me and come out. The first appointment, the technicians were nice but misdiagnosed the issue stating that it needed 3 lbs of freon and charged me $155. The same day, a high pitched noise started coming out of the unit so I recalled the service ticket and the home warranty sent them out again. The next technician was also very but also misdiagnosed the issue! He also told me that he didn't know why the first technicians overfilled the freon! He left stating that the compressor was needing to be replaced. I have since had two other companies out to look at it (that were not related to my home warranty) and both said that the compressor is completely fine and that this company could have damaged my system with the additional freon. Very frustrated! Two trip charges and $155 freon charge = lesson learned!

I have had nothing but problems with this company. My home warranty company sent them out.
1st time - The first time they came out they said they corrected the problem.
2nd time - Said I needed a new furnace
3rd time - Had the wrong paperwork and thought they were inspection instead of replacing furnace
4th time - Brought wrong unit. Had to wait 2 weeks for correct unit.
5th time - Installed furnace.
Cold snap moved in and we turned back on the heat. It kept shutting off. I called another A/C unit not going through Warranty Company. I have learned a lot about furnaces since then. Furnaces come set for natural gas. I am on propane. When they installed they should have converted to propane which they did not. Propane burns hotter than natural gas. Luckily it was shutting off because it would trip the sensor or it would have caught my house on fire or exploded. It can also build up soot and damage the furnace.
This company had very poor service. It is extremely hard to get them on the phone. The woman on dispatching tried to work with me and was very nice but you can only do so much.
This company technicians are not qualified and they are poorly organized.

One Guard Warranty dispatched DFW HVAC after One Guard's first plumber could not come for 4 days. I asked them for someone who was available on a Saturday. They fixed the initial problem and determined the water heater needed to be replaced. They subsequently came out and replaced it and my tenant was pleased with their work and ability to work around her schedule. The one guard sentinel warranty plan is worthless so make sure you upgrade to include code coverage. I'm still out of pocket $920 + $69 service call while one guard only covered physical tank and labor. We definitely will call DFW HVAC and Plumbing for any issues.

Definitely not recommend to use this company. They were assigned by one-guard to fix my shower valve and water heater leak. After they were assigned, there was no phone call from DFW HVAC for appointment until I waited 2 days later and finally complain to One-guard. Within 5 minutes after I complaint, they called and scheduled the appt for 2 days later, which is Saturday 9-12. I waited all morning and postponed my other appointments. Gues what, they are no show, no phone calls, nothing. Unbelievable!
My message to One-guard: Please don't use this contractor!
Do not use this company.

DFW HVAC was contracted through my Oneguard home warranty to fix my water heater. The technician who came to our house was unable to communicate well in English, but communicated enough that he would have to order a part (heating element) and come back to install it. Weeks went by and we never heard back. I called DFW HVAC several times and left messages, but never got a return call. When I did finally get though and talk they were rude and unhelpful--in fact one person told me that a tech never even came to our house in the first place! Crazy. When they were finally able to figure out their confusion, they said I would have to pay my home-warranty fee again and get a new work order. Over one month later--still don't have my hot-water heater fixed.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND ATTITUDE! We nearly cancelled our entire warranty plan over this terrible vendor. No-call no-show to a simple job TWICE! Then the contractor refused to come out afterwards because his feelings were hurt when we told him we were disappointed with his no-call-no-show. The receptionist is incompetent and is only good for answering the phones going "thanks for calling please hold (for 15 minutes)." The "supervisor" is a coward and will hide in order to dodge his disgruntled customers rather than owning up and doing the right thing. They are a major ripoff and I recommend burning your own house down before you call them to service ANYTHING for you! They get their jobs from home warranty companies and they still do a horrible job. I cant figure out how they are still in business.

They were chosen by our home warranty, so maybe that's also a reason why the service is really bad.
First, they didn't show up to the appointment set. Second, they didn't even call to inform.
They billed us $675 aside from the $365+ from our warranty!
Looked up the price of the parts that I was being billed for and discovered I was being billed at least triple the amount for each item.
