I had this company come out and replace my failed main waterline to the house. Once completed only half the house had water. They then told me it would cost roughly the same amount to hook water up to the rest of the house. Not impressed with there communication either.

Hired to repair a shower valve, did more harm than good. Was unable to repair and suggested a very expensive replacement with a low quality valve. In desperation, I went to the original manufacturer and was sent free of charge all the components necessary for me to fix it myself! D&F charged me to damage it further with their incompetence!

Jason saved the day. Water heater failed. He got it started with a few steps only a plumber would know. Then returned with a new water heater and all necessary parts. Clearly he cared that we were without hot water. He was assuring, knowledgeable, experienced, thorough and timely!! Thank you, Jason and D&F Plumbing for excellent service. I will refer you to anyone in search of plumbing help. I hear you also service HVAC needs. When the time comes we will reach out to D&F!

D&F customer service reached out to me. Brad understood the circumstances of my negative experience and apologized. He is committed to improving my dissatisfaction My evaluation of D&F Customer Service is positive.

Our drama begins on a Thursday morning when I realize we have practically a third of our normal water pressure. I rush out to the street expecting water to be gushing out of my waterline. To my surprise it's not so I check the water meter to make sure there's no in-line break but it is steady. I come into the house and turn on a faucet, check the meter again and it is slowly creeping up so it's giving me accurate information.
I call CPU. They arrive within one hour and check everything up to the water meter. He says it's all fine and it's on my side of the meter. He suggests it may be the water softener since it's the first thing in line to the house. Soccer was installed less than three years ago so I called up that company and they arrived within 45 minutes. It checked out. They gave me a couple recommendations for plumbers to call. The earliest appointment I could get was a Tuesday morning appointment made.
When retiring Thursday evening I decided to do a little more research on emergency plumbing since we really didn't want to wait three days to get water back. When I googled emergency plumbing D&F Plumbing appeared so I checked out their website and found a ""chat with us"" link. And no time at all I was chatting with Matthew about my issue. I was impressed that he was able to get me an appointment the following day, Friday in the afternoon. I explained to Matthew that it was my golf day and that I would like the appointment to begin at 3 o'clock or later. Shortly after finishing my round of golf (around 2 o'clock) I received a call from Brian that he was at the house. My wife was supposed to be home to receive him but she was at her mother's so I told Brian I would be there in 20 minutes. This is where D&F Plumbing and I begin to disagree on specifics. I was under the impression that a plumber would show up to fix my issue. Brian was a salesman. He wrote up an estimate and I showed my wife. We were both shocked but the lack of water is a great motivator. I signed the contract, which had a $500 emergency fee in it, with a guarantee that it would be fixed before the day was over. We were told a plumber would arrive between five and 7 o'clock. No one showed up. I received a call after 7 o'clock and was asked if I still wanted him to show up. I said of course, we paid an extra fee to get it done today. The plumber, Randy, finally showed up and after inspecting a crawlspace and the street plumbing said he had never seen anything like it before. Are you kidding me? You're a professional plumber. He couldn't find the PRV and I relayed to him that we had a leak maybe 15-20 years ago and maybe it was removed. What do I know, we just want water pressure and I'm trying to encourage a solution. Bottom line, he doesn't do anything. I tell him I'll dig around in the morning. On Saturday morning, as I'm digging through the mud at the water meter, I find the PRV which had broken off and was laying next to the pipe. By now I have lost full confidence in this company so I call the office and begin a dialogue with Michael.
Michael attempts to keep my business but after much discussion I ask him for a refund of the 50% down that I had put on the contract. He's not happy about it but he does refund my money. When I was checking my credit card account I saw the refund but not for the Diagnostic fee on Thursday afternoon. I requested that refund from Michael but he believes that it is a justified charge and refuses. He blames me for the plumber leaving on Friday evening. He said the repair could've been made at I not misled him about the PRV. Once again, I'm not a plumber. He assumes I know something.
This whole episode could have been avoided had a plumber showed up on Thursday afternoon, in the daylight, before the 5 o'clock emergency fee was required and replaced the PRV valve. That's all I wanted. The salesman added a whole bunch of other stuff and ended up being $900 more than the Tuesday morning repair by another plumber. There are lots of plumbers out there. I recommend you find another one. This one likes to take your money.

After a flood in my apartment, we engaged Servpro to come out to sort things out. They engaged D and F. They unclogged the toilet and replaced the handle. The charges were out of this world.... I will ignore the cleaning toilet with Auger charge of $437 as they have to factor in call out fee etc. It probably should have been about $250.
But what was the most insulting and criminal charge was $349.00 to replace a flush handle. These cost between $10-$15 ! And take 5 minutes to install by a non skilled person. This is the perfect definition on daylight robbery!
Look elsewhere and find someone who charges fairly and is not trying to gouge you.

Quick response, quality work,very professional,
, yet, price is not cheap. in case of urgency, it is worth of the calling.

Apparently they thought my elderly mother in law was the home owner and quoted an outrageous 60% higher then any reasonable company would have bid but they charged me $129 for the bid! When my elderly mother in law called me at work to let me know what they had told her the ""expert"" was visibly nervous as im sure he knew he bid an outrageous amout trying to take advantage of the situation. Little did he know Ive replaced several main lines and had already figured out what a reasonable bid would be. Lomg story short they quoted 10500 and the average bid between 5 other companies was 4100.
I would never even consider using this company, they absolutely will take advantage of you, if i could have i would have come through the phone and slapped the employee for trying to take advantage of a elderly women. Absolutely disgusting ethics. I went with Henco as they where spot on with what it should cost for the job. I cant overstate how disgusted I am with the ethics of this company.

I just called this place for a backflow test that I am required by the city. They quoted me $160. After calling around to several places I found someone that is doing it for $45. Yes, they are licensed and bonded. I think these people are a rip off. The woman just hung up on me when I, called back, & asked why their service was so expensive. Beware of this place.
I received a phone call this morning from Brad the owner of this business. He apologized to me for the phone call, and explained that I was giving the wrong information. He said the price for a residential home was more like $45-$75. Much more reasonable. He mentioned that he was going to have a discussion with his employees and train them to better answer questions, to customers who call.. He also told me that the person on the phone did not actually hang up on me. We were disconnected. He said he strives for better customer service and quality work.
I appreciate his phone call and the conversation to help me understand .
I feel this was above and beyond, and I wish him and his company Success.

Outrageously expensive. I felt pressured to have the work done or pay the estimate fee and have nothing done. Toilet leak, 15 minutes work, $250! And he forgot to give me the senior discount. Also had my washer line rooted $600. The machine damaged my cork floor. I was pressured to replace 30' of pipe, he said $1500 but written estimate was $3500. I was flustered and should have caught all this, lesson learned.
