We needed a plumber ASAP to come take care of a fridge waterline and it wasn't easy, but it was taken care of and I'm thrilled, so far. D&F was able to get me someone who has decades of experience and was thoughtful and courteous. great communication and our issues is resolved. Highly recommended!!

Excellent service, knowledgeable plumbers, nice people. However. They are literally 300% higher than any other plumber we've used, doing the same exact job. The 119.00 estimate fee is also outrageous and not industry standard thank goodness.

Last month D&F Sent Warren Hunter to repair my leaking bathroom sink. Warren replaced the stems that control water flow. The parts were still under warranty and we picked up parts for cold and hot beforehand at Chown Hardware. Warren did an excellent job and kept me well informed and answered my questions as they arose. Schedulers and texts from office staff also kept me well informed.

I've hired D & F Plumbing twice this year and have been totally pleased both times. I expected to be told the wait time for service was days if not weeks, but they scheduled service for the current week and on the day I wanted. James was the plumber who helped me today. He was professional, explained the expected price, asked good questions and listened. He was also careful about my house and even slipped on shoe covers, but best of all, he fixed the problem fairly quickly. I didn't even bother calling another company and definitely plan to use D & F if I need plumbing help again.

We ""randomly"" contacted D&F Plumbing while in the middle of an emergency situation and could not have made a better selection! We experienced impeccable customer service: from the office person who took the call with sympathy and kindness to the plummer, Warren Hunter, who did the initial diagnosis of the problem, to James S., who returned the following day with equipment to identify the source of the problem and consult with the city, it was an great experience! Their highly skilled and knowledgeable plumbers and excellent customer service make D&F Plumbing the absolute best choice when you need a plumber!

A Senior friend of mine recently had D & F replace an outside hose bib that was leaking. The new part was $65 and the job required access to the crawl space. The job was routine, the tech encountered no other problems or issues, spent less than 1/2 hour on the job and complimented the condition of her crawl. My son, who is a plumber, and several other contractors I've contacted all agree this should have been a $300-$400 job max. With the ""Senior discount"" she was given, she paid almost $1200. She requested an itemized invoice to explain the charges but was told the emailed ""receipt"" showing nothing more than what she paid was all they would send. She called and asked what their per hour labor charge was and was told they only bill ""by the job"". Again, no explanation of the charges would be coming. Subsequent phone calls by both of us have been ignored. This is predatory in nature and they are taking advantage of seniors. I know of no other companies who refuse to explain their billing!

I would like to reply to you regarding this matter considering my experience with your company.

I do understand this system can fail, as can any pipe. I also understand the faults and issues with this system. That said, I am appalled at the lengths to which your company has gone in an effort to make me feel as though re-piping my house was my only option.

First, I received a quote for the original fix as $500 less than you charged. No one in your agency even attempted to alert us to ways to save money (I.e. the military discount which we qualify for), so we didn't even get to save the $80.

Second, the quote to fix just the manifold at 4,778.... That's disgusting. Everyone I have talked to (including other plumbers) were shocked. Our second opinion comes from a highly recommended company that does not have any concerns attached to them. They have quoted a thousand. The re-piping that you claim will cost 16,000... they can do for more than half. They also are questioning how that type of quote can be made for a small 2 bathroom house.

Third. The second leak that came about after the first fix was completed by your company. I pulled the hose off and noticed the extender off kilter so I re-adjusted and put the hose back, not realizing that I just fixed the issue. This was not leaking before and I find it interesting that your company came in stating the system would malfunction before even making the original fix. Yet, you all come back and state almost 5000.

Finally, you all lie the minute you get a possible customer on the phone. Those folks go on telling people that your plumbers do a double check when they are done with repairs to make sure everything is running properly. Clearly this is untrue. The only way they will check anything is with a 500 fee, which is not what is being said.

To be honest, I cannot prove what I believe happened. I feel like your company over charges and uses intimidation, I am not clear if that's with all clients or just women. I am sickened to know that I even overpaid you all $500. I cannot take action against that. What I can, and will do, is this. I want my card information erased from your files, you will not need it again. Second, I will be making all the reviews I can for your company online as well as providing my review of your company to both Servpro and StateFarm. Finally, I will be reporting you to the better business bureau.
I realize this won't do much to affect your methods in the future, but I will certainly make sure I can get word out as much as I can. I hope that you all sleep well at night with the business you conduct, because I certainly view it as criminal.

After receiving wonderful service from plumber Johnny W. For a new toilet and faucet earlier in the year, I scheduled a new shower stall. Johnny had gone to work for another company. while I understand supply chain problems, incorrect measurements, the wrong stall ordered, plumbers that showed up to do the demo that was already done, the correct stall when it finally arrived did not have all the pieces. I had to call repeatedly to find out what was happening with my order. The last straw was when I was called, twice demanding payment for a job not done. I had paid half up front. Bad customer service!

Just moved into my house, I had to order a new washer and dryer. The company I ordered from said that I had to have metal taps to hook the washer up to, the ones in my house were plastic; I had one week to solve this problem. I called a bunch of plumbers, they all were booked out for 3-4 weeks. My boyfriend tried to help by replacing them himself; but he's not a plumber, the advice from the home center was wrong; the faucets he attached dripped like crazy. Now we're into emergency plumbing territory. I had to shut off the water to the house to keep it from flooding. We called D&F, they sent Kelly Boyle who was efficient, knowledgeable, and was able to come out the next morning. He did a great job, the price was reasonable, and I am all set for my new machine- five days in advance! Will definitely use them again.

Richard P. is a highly technical and expert level plumber.

Overall, D&F operationally represents extremely high quality experience and end result.

Richard's plumbing wizardry made sense of a very technical and complex downspout drainage + leak problem that was flooding / eroding our entire back yard. He upgraded our ~30 year old clogged, broken, and not level downspouts by seamlessly stitching everything together to channel the water out of our yard properly. Thank you!
