We needed to replace a 35-year-old water-guzzling toilet and the last two plumbers we called either never returned our call or didn't show up for the appt., so we tried Desired Plumbing due to the number of positive Yelp reviews. Neil answered our call in the morning and was really knowledgable, friendly and patient with my questions. He offered us options re: repair or replace, and the types of toilets available for sane-day installation. That afternoon, two very nice plumbers showed up with everything they needed to install the new Kohler toilet and haul away the old one. They did such a nice job! The bill was very reasonable, too! I've told family and friends about Desired Plumbing because they were friendly, dependable, and professional. Give them a try -- you won't be disappointed!

We only would write a review as a result of exceptional service and satisfaction. Such is the case with 'Desired Plumbing' out of Petaluma. We are seniors. We have built 8 homes over the years. We know what exceptional service is. 'Desired Plumbing' gets two thumbs up. Very neat, clean and skilled. Their pricing is fair and reasonable. With Plumbers, you never really know what you are getting until the job is done ... Look no further 5 stars for these guys.

Neil saved me $3,058.85! Honestly. I wasn't getting any hot water so I called a company (M.R.) and was quoted $3,300.00 to replace the water heater. M.R. found no other problems. Since I'd been without hot water for about a week, I wanted it done and scheduled the installation. But, the next morning, I woke up and the first thought I had was ""cancel the appointment with M.R."" so I did. I knew that price was way too high.

Then, I called Desired Plumbing and Neil came out the same day. He diagnosed the problem in less than a half-hour. The hot and cold water lines had been crossed during the initial installation, 30 years ago. He fixed the problem, told me I would need to replace the tank soon because of sediment build-up, but not before Christmas!

Then, he fixed it in no time. The hot water came back, immediately. It cost me $241.15. When I do replace the tank, it will be about half of what was quoted originally. So, yes, I highly recommend Desired Plumbing and Neil. He cares. It's obvious. He's a problem-solver and a fair person, not to mention, lifesaver!

Our water heater went out for the second time in two years. I got replacement quotes and repair quotes but Neal said he'd have to come out to troubleshoot and he was pretty busy until the next day. I talked to him to arrange an appointment and he said he'd try to stop by that day.
He was able to stop by that evening and said our water heater parts were covered under warranty and proceeded to call the manufacturer right then and there!!He got the part delivered in two days and sent two reliable crew members to install. Our water heater is just fine with a new burner installed.
Desired Plumbing went above and beyond excellent repair and service. I highly recommend them.

I hesitate to write a review simply because I want to hog these conscientious fellas all to myself! The review that lead me to them named Neil as ""kind,"" and this is no joke. These guys are capable, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. These are good honest people with the skills to boot.

They did a big job in our garage during a rainstorm. Even so, they were tidy, and did all of their cutting in the backyard IN the rain to spare my garage! The job took longer than they imagined, and at 6:30 p.m., after a full day's work, they were STILL going. They are perfectionists, and they charge fairly.

I can't recommend them enough. They are the plumbers I've always been looking for and finally found. 10 stars to Neil, Marcel and all the guys at Desired.

Neal and his team were GREAT! They were out to my house within an hour of calling! Marcell and his colleague were friendly and fixed my leak in less than an hour! I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!

Desired Plumbing just saved me thousands of dollars. I had 2 other plumbers look at my leaking water heater and received bids of $2800 and $2300. I called Desired Plumbing today and Neil came by today to look look at my problem to give me an estimate. Instead he said I can fix that. He diagnosed a leaking drain valve and put in a brass cap on the valve to stop the leak and save me replacing my water heater. I'm not accusing the other plumbers of being dishonest, they just didn't take the time to look and diagnose to problem properly. He charged me $0 and wished me a Merry Christmas. Competency and honesty are rare qualities in any business. I will be calling Desired Plumbing for all my plumbing needs from now on.

This is the one you want. DP gave me a competitive bid, and Neil sounded like he knew his stuff so I went with them, and what I got was that perfect mix of professionalism, competence, honesty and all-around nice guy. Neil asked for photos before they came out, so when they arrived they already had everything they needed for the job. They were prompt and very thorough, and Neil made sense of everything for me so I understood the issues and options. When they left, the place was spotless, and I noticed they did some things with soldering and insulation that I hadn't asked for or expected. Go with these guys, you won't regret it.

Neil was a referral from our contractor and I highly recommend him.
We set up a time for him to come and just give us an estimate. He was on time and ended up just fixing the problem with the water pressure in our new shower on the spot. He is knowledgeable and honest
