I had a tenant at my rental property tell me he had a huge water bill so after speaking with the water company and few plumbing business we had to determine where the leak was. I spoke to a Rep at this company and they agreed to send someone out to look at it and do a leak detection test in the property. The guy was nice but too nice, meaning I know when someone is trying to rip me off. I gave him the benefit of the doubt since they were the first ones to be able to go look at the property. I had told him that it did have a bad toilet but I can't justify the ridiculous water bill my tenant got for a toilet leak. So a plumber went out and was supposed to do a full leak detection but my tenant told me they did non of the sort. The technician went straight to the toilet, didn't look at any other pipes, not the Casita in the back literally nothing. Long story short I got a quote for $4,500 dollars because apparently the toilet was leaking sooooo bad that it caused massive water damage under the house where the floor had to be opened up the main water line had to be replaced and he tried to sell me on replumbing the entire house. Obviously I was already a little suspicious because like I said originally he was a little too nice trying to be my friend and his dead giveaway was, ""I'm not gonna lie to you"", Whenever somebody says that it means they are going to lie to you. I asked him how long it will take him to do the job he said one day. To do all the work he told me was needed and to charge me $4500 and it was getting done in one day did not add up at all. I needed a second opinion therefore I contacted desert oasis AC plumbing and heating company that was referred to me by a friend. I spoke to A manager there and explained everything to him and basically called BS! I originally didn't tell him the name of the company because it's a small desert to see if I would get a non biased answer. After talking to him for awhile I told him the company name and come to find out General Air Conditioning and Plumbing has a reputation for screwing over customers. See they get paid on commission off what they sell so do I need to say more on how they make $$? All in all Desert oasis fixed my issue and installed a new toilet for $316. Not even close to the damage that I was originally quoted for, No breaking apart the floor or replumbing the entire house. Always always get a second opinion! It will save you like in my case over $4k!!! I highly recommend desert oasis.

I recently moved to the La Quinta area and I needed to find a good air-conditioning and plumbing & heating company. I had some major renovation work in my master bathroom. I am so happy to find the best plumber in the valley! The owner of the company is James Vega. James is very professional, explains everything that needs to be done, is very honest, friendly and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him and his company. A+++

WOW! I requested a quote yesterday afternoon from four companies. James was the only one who replied with direct commentary on my problem. Everyone else just wanted me to set an appointment with a receptionist. I called and James answered the first time. We discussed my plumbing problems, solutions, and how they bill for work(very fair). I agreed and James took a look at the place next morning. He provided great solutions base on his expertise and gave me a rough estimate of cost.

While doing the work, he discovered another leak in my wall and fixed that as well. I would have never known there was another problem without James' help. He even remounted my dishwasher. It is not standard for plumbers to work on appliances, so I am very appreciative!

After all was said and done, the cost was right what he quoted me initially, and he didn't know about the extra problems when he gave me that quote.

I AM BEYOND IMPRESSED. The timeliness, expertise, professionalism, and pricing far exceeded my expectations. I will only be using James for all my plumbing and HVAC needs moving forward. Would highly recommend and would give ten stars if I could.
