Hired Cody to install a freestanding bathtub, he quoted $800.00, said it would be a full days work. After 2 hours he said he was done, I was surprised he finished so quickly. When I went into the bathroom I couldn't believe he left a 2"" hole/gap across the entire front of the tub base exposing the dirt and plumbing. Are you kidding me?? I asked him why did you leave a gap and he said his measurements must have been off. Expecting him to fix the problem immediately he told me to hire someone to grout the gap, I was shocked. He then left and went straight to the bank and cashed my check. I then had a handyman come to grout the hole. The handyman could not believe that a supposable licensed ""plumber"" installed the tub. He told me the hole is to large for grout, that it would just end up falling into the gaping hole. He said to call the plumber back to install the tub correctly. He also pointed out that the plumbing fixtures/hardware were not tight, drain is crooked and not sealed properly, and that the tub wobbles due to him not filling the tub base properly as the directions clearly instructed him to do. (which I had given him). He is either lacking the common sense or training to be trusted with your home. Hiring him will end up costing you double by the time you have to hire another plumber to fix his half azz work not to mention the stress. He wanted to charge us again to come back and set the tub correctly as he should have done in the first place, unbelievable! Beware, pay attention to the other reviews, steer clear!

Mike was referred to me by a AC repair/plumber. So glad he did. Mike responded quickly and showed up on time and texted me prior to arrival, which I appreciate.

Replaced 2 toilets, fixed a sink, and a garbage disposal pump button. No up-charges or surprises. I will be using him again and refer to my neighbors. Nice guy too.

If I could rate this a 0 star I would.Worst plumber I every had. Not only does he not complete his work, but he has terrible customer service. I used Mike to repair the Thermocouple on a hot water heater and he did a half-ass job. The wire that he put in was too big, so the door to the pilot would not close, so I called him and asked him nicely whenever he got a chance if he could come out and make sure the door closes. He said, yes and that he would come out to fix it on Wednesday at 1pm. I called him on the day that he said he was coming to the house and no answer, so I left a message, then I called 2 more times because it was now 6pm and he was suppose to show up at 1. He never showed up and never returned my calls. The next day I tried calling him again and he answered and I explained to him that he was suppose to come out the day before to fix the Thermocouple and he just hung up. I would NEVER refer this guy to anyone, he was the worst plumber I ever had and was so unprofessional.

I've used Mike twice, once for a toilet problem and a main water line leak and once to install some new faucets. My neighbors have also used him. He's a personable guy, will come out quickly in an emergency, gets the job done right and doesn't gouge me with the fees, so he has my vote. I'm just trying to spread some good reviews his way. It's hard to find a regular person you can trust, especially with plumbing that tends to hit as an emergency situation.

Mike Wiersma with Desert Horizon was fantastic.
We had originally called George Brazil for our Rinnai Tank-less water heater issue. They sent out a clueless technician who wanted to charge us $2100 to fix a one year old $1,500 unit. He said the unit needed to be flushed and disassembled.
We checked the Rinnai website and Desert Horizon was on their approved list of plumbers. Mike arrived and checked out the unit and called Rinnai. He thought is was a vent pipe issue and climbed on our roof and discovered the vent pipe had come loose. He took the vent pipe apart and did some measuring and cutting and reinstalled the pipe correctly. The unit worked great and has continued working without issue.
His total bill? $100 - a $2,000 saving over those shyster's over at George Brazil.
Mike was respectful, works hard and is a very honest repairman.

Mike with Desert Horizon Plumbing did an amazing job! He communicated very well letting me know the time of arrival and addressing my plumbing issue at my house. He was very knowledgable and trustworthy, a great guy!
I would highly recommend Mike and I'm happy I now have a plumber for future needs.
