In a nut shell my estimate of $800 ended up being $1.122. Not included in the est was a broken faucet pipe, above ground that took 45 min they charged me $280 for that, the material was a separate line item $45. The plumber that gave me the estimate and lates out the repair. However two different people came and their remedy was different. Read my full explanation below. If I get a refund as I've asked for I will update this rating.

If I could, I would leave no stars. I've had desert cities plumbing do work for me at home and I've always been happy. This time I had a problem at work. Bill promised me a 9 am time. 11 am he finally texts and says he's on his way after I've called and texted a few times. 1 pm. 2pm. 3pm...and nothing. He really screwed me and my business over. I will never contact him or his business again. I've never left a bad yelp review for any business as I am a business owner myself. This just went beyond the pale. Oh, don't attempt to leave a voice-mail. It's full, always!

Lousy communication, if any... request that you text them the information about the job and then they never respond. Not professional..

We were visiting a friend in Rancho Mirage. The water main broke at 10pm on Sunday. The side yard was flooded and water was coming out beneath a concrete wall. Desert Cities Plumbing arrived and got to work. They dug out below the wall and had the problem fixed by 1am.
The team was courteous and efficient. I felt their charge was very fair.

It's New Year's eve. We're about 90 minutes out from going to dinner with friends... and my hubby notices a small trail of water coming from our laundry/water heater. The insulation around the water heater is soaked. It's a dead water heater on NYE and we have tenants checking into our place the next day. Dinner is not going to happen. BUT. Thank GOODNESS Bill and his team answered and swooped in with a new water heater this same night! Honestly, cannot thank them enough. The whole thing happens and is fixed within 3 hours. Literal lifesaver. AND for a reasonable rate. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Not good quality of replaced item and price was almost double what was quoted. I had to call another plumber to correct the issue.

DO NOT USE. We had the exact same experience as previous review. called Bill (owner) at 8am and he said they were coming at 11am, then 1:30PM, then 3PM and 5:30 PM. then stopped answering the phone. Out of the blue showed up at 8:15PM. We had lost all water to house/toilets for 12 hrs at this point. Told me he could not do anything until next day as he couldn't buy a replacement tank as everyone was closed. Said no thanks....

I had a great experience with desert cities plumbing. I spoke with Alan about a leak in a pipe under the sink.
He told me he would be here in app 2 hours and he arrived, ""on- time"" for the appt. I showed him the problem and he knew just what to do.
I spoke with him about a few other issues related to frequent cartridge changes and mineral build up in the shower head. I did not want to hold him up because he was busy, but I will definitely have him back after the beginning of the year to proactively assess a few other things. Hell of a nice guy and brilliant.
