Plumbers charge astronomical prices because the common homeowner lacks skill, knowledge or are just vulnerable because after all plumbing is a luxury, like HVAC. So do your due diligence, consult good old Google, his friend YouTube and their sister Angie's list before getting bent over by an owner operator plumber with no overhead charging you property management prices. Be educated, don't be victimized.

I had clogged drain pipes in my kitchen sink, and needed help ASAP. I put out a help request on Yelp, and got 2 responses. One guy quoted me a date 9 days later, the other wouldn't return my calls. A friend recommended Ralph Depew, and I'm glad they did. This guy promptly returned my call, and was able to get to me within 2 hours. He was friendly, courteous, professional, and most importantly, he fixed the problem. Real solid, down to earth dude. The type you wanna to get a beer with. Can't recommend him highly enough. I'd give him 6 stars if I could.
