It's Labor Day today and this morning I discovered that the hot water hose on the top of my water heater was leaking! I called Adrian, sent him some pictures of the issue and he arrived within 45 minutes. His quote was more than reasonable. He replaced both hot and cold water hoses at no extra charge. Very friendly, professional, excellent customer service and truly dependable! I highly recommend him.

Our experience with Adrian is beyond expectation! Our water heater broke after 10 years. We called for another 'reputable' service first and the repair technician came out and asked for $2000+ claiming he needed to bring everything up to code - he didn't mention the water leaking into the wall. We are so happy to turned away this service and called Adrian - he gave us an honest estimate around $1300 after hearing our problem description and seeing the photos, gave the same diagnoses including bringing it up to the new code.
He arrived within the hour. Upon first inspection, he noticed the leak make the connecting wall area all wet - he offered to conduct some mold inspection first by cutting a hole on the supporting base and stick a snake camera in to check if there's mold buildup. With verification that there's no mold so far so no wall-work needed, he then finished the job within an hour efficiently. He was very courteous and friendly during the whole process, explaining everything we didn't understand. We'd like to recommend Dependable Water Heaters to anyone who need this line of service!

Got back from vacation and the pilot light wouldn't light after being in ""pilot"" mode. Called Adrian on a Sunday and after first sending pictures, he did a quick stop on his way home. It didn't need a repair, I just needed help getting the sequence right on the pilot lighting. He got it going in less than 5 minutes and taught me how to do it right for next time. Great service and attitude, and I would definitely recommend Dependable Water Heaters.

We started noticing rust color water coming out of our pipes. So we knew that we would probably have to have our water heater replaced. I did a search on Yelp and found ""Dependable Water Heaters"" with 5 star reviews. We called and we talked to Adrian and told him the problem we were experiencing. Adrian told us to try a few things first and if that didn't work, to call him back. It happened that it did not resolve the problem, so we called Adrian back and he came out the next day and replaced our water heater. Adrian and his assistant did an excellent job in installing our water heater. Adrian did not mind that we supervised the installation. Once they were done, Adrian and his assistant explained to us on how to maintain and prolong the life of the water heater.

I give Adrian a 5+ star rating. He deserves all the 5 star reviews and more. You will not go wrong in choosing ""Dependable Water Heaters"". I would definitely recommend Adrian to all my friends and family for his services. Adrian truly cares about his customers.

Adrian is wonderful! He came on time on a Saturday morning, carefully considered my requests, quickly installed a good water heater and left, all of this while telling interesting stories and cheerfully chatting about life in Bay Area. The day after he pinged me to make sure everything was all-right. Precise, competent, honest and very friendly. I wish all contractors were like him!

Water heater flooded. Adrian came by and helped figure out that the water pressure regulator to the house had failed and we were over 100 PSI into the house. He also recommended replacing the drywall that was wet. We verified it was wet with a moisture sensor after a few days of drying. We went through yelp to find those guys to fix the water regulator and drywall and then he was there to replace the water heater the next day.

My parent's home had issues with their water heater and I was out of town. So after looking at positive reviews, we decided to call Dependable Water Heaters. Adrian answered right away and given his experience with our type of water heater, was able to assess the problem over the phone. He told my parents exactly what part to order from the manufacturer, which they did, and then call him when it arrived. The part arrived the next morning. Two hours after letting him know, he arrived. Extremely prompt, knowledgable and friendly were words my parents used. I would highly recommend Dependable Water Heaters for any issues. My hot water heater went out. So I call these people because of their excellent ratings. The guy on the phone asks me what brand was my HWH. I said it was a Rheem. He asks me when I brought it and I said 3 1/2 years ago. He tells me that I should call Rheem and ask them for a kit to fix a known problem. Rheem will know exactly which kit to send out to me. When it arrives he will install it for $195 and this will fix the problem.
So I call up Rheem. First Rheem says they have many parts and the only way for them to be sure I will get the proper part is to either hire a HWH specialist to diagnosis the problem or they can walk me through it. I chose the later. I was on the phone with Rheem and they walked me through diagnosing what part I needed. They sent the part out and I got it within 24 hours.
I had called two other HWH companies by this time and my gut told me something was not right. I had quotes of $85 and $135 from these two companies and decided to call the $85 guy who also had excellent ratings. He came out and got my HWH to start in less than a minute without the new part from Rheem.
Why the low rating for Dependable Water Heaters? First it is clear he jumped the gun to tell me I simply needed to call Rheem. Second if I had called him to come and replace the part, I wonder what he would have done and how much he would have charged me. Would he have stuck me with a $195 bill even if he got my HWH started in less than a minute? As a consumer I don't think I should be put in such a position.
