Yes, one star. I have never been so rudely treated by professionals in my own house. They came to do three jobs, but quoted very high prices for two of them (150 dollars to replace a washer; 350 dollars to hook up a basement-sink pump. Told me I should return the pump I had bought to Home Depot.
However, they did replace a broken part on my heating unit (275 dollars). The actual work took about a quarter of an hour. This was after having left for ""an hour"" to get the part they needed. In fact, they didn't return for almost four hours. No apology or explanation. Just, ""We're back."" Then 15 minutes later, ""Finished.""
I have no idea if the unit is working properly. They didn't show me anything except the bill. Never again.

The workers are professional and knowledgeable. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately the owner Tom should take a course in customer relations. In fact he should take a course on how to speak to people in general in a professional manner.

I used this company for a small shower leak. They arrived somewhat on time and corrected the problem on the spot. The bill was higher than expected for changing the small part. The plumber moved a piece of furniture and put a noticeably sizeable scratch in my newly re-finished hardwood floors. I overlooked both of these minor issues until the owner had his secretary call and threaten me because my check had not arrived. (I live out of state at the moment) I understand there are people out there who do not pay, but I am certainly not one of them. Plus, it hasn't even been five business days from receiving the invoice. This business owner Tom, who is in a SERVICE industry, needs to treat customers better. With numerous other options for plumbing and heating services in the immediate area, I will certainly be using a different company next time.
