I have been working with Dependable Fire Equipment for the past 6 years. They are just that.....DEPENDABLE. Technicians are very thorough, courteous and informative. A great company to work with.
I've also been using them for many years-and pay them quite a bit to re-tag my fire extinguishers every year. They've never been good at maintaining their records, and I'm not sure if they recently re-organized-but several months ago, some character from the company entered the property and removed the tag from one of the extinguishers-after threatening the store owner (my tenant) that he was going to take the extinguisher (which belongs to me) because the annual check-up fee hadn't been paid. Well, I've paid my bill annually for the past 20 years and did so for the last time (12/17) service was provided. I always insist they make an appointment and come only when I am on site, because if they don't, extinguishers get missed and I have to pay them to come back. Apparently someone was coming out of cycle-and billing the store owner for additional services, which were never requested. Unfortunately, the rep I dealt with every year (Jesse) left the company-and now I have people from the company entering my property and removing things without my permission. They promised to mail back the removed tag, but never did so. When I called back earlier today to follow up, they didn't know anything about it. Time to switch to a new company.
Sirk J.First off I will start by saying, I've been using Dependable Fire for several years now. I have never had a problem with any employee, owner, or manager. In fact I've talked to the owner many times and he couldn't be any nicer of a guy. This past week, I had an emergency come up and I needed services done within 24 hours in order to pass inspection's for me to move into a new business. I called dependable fire, and they were out with and 15 hours, got everything resolved, inspected, updated, and ready for my inspection in which I passed. Plus it was a holiday weekend. Fast professional awesome service. Kurt one of their techs has bailed me out many times as well, and I thank them all.
horrible people to deal with. rude customer service. i been in business 25 years. over priced. don't use these guys.
