DON'T FALL FOR THE FUNNY COMMERCIALS! I almost got ripped off by them.
I had a water heater leak-they quoted me $1500-2000 to fix. My BS meter went off so I did not let them do the work.
I called another plumber....parts and labor- $300.
Local, independent, plumbers are so much better I have found.
UPDATE: The owner wrote back, claiming the quote they gave was for a FULL water heater replacement- THAT IS A LIE- it was for the SAME service-replace the pump to stop the dripping.
DO NOT TRUST THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY! Since then, I have heard from so many people telling me how Denommee is infamous for trying to rip off their customers.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY-I bought a new couch with the extra $1200 I saved!
Total HVAC system needed to be replaced. The technician was very thorough with his explanation of options, estimate, and even included the Mass Save allowances. Amanda in the office was superb in her assistance in getting the whole process rolling and assisting in all the paperwork. I can't say enough good things for Tyler and Cam who took the two days in the sweltering heat to install our new heat pump, furnace, and eco thermostat. They were totally professional, cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was working properly. We had a little glitch the first night due to a power outage in our area but a quick call the next morning and help was sent within an hour to remedy the situation. Drew came back yesterday to meet the inspectors, answered any questions we still had, and got the final seals of approval. Absolutely, A+ service!
My water heater was in an urgent need of replacement and Denommee came through to inspect and replace all in the same day. John and Aiden were friendly, professional, and transparent with everything from pricing to warranties, and ultimately installation. They are definitely trusted with any of my future needs!
Initial phone call to request service was not great. The representative was talking in circles without giving out important details. Service technician was efficient and competent.
Scheduling of the visit was quick and efficient
BUT they are very unprofessional service and they don't need really know what they are doing.
Yesterday I had a couple of techs in my house they arrived at 1:30 after checking for an hour if the system needed gas or not they told me the system didn't need a charge, it may be that I have a clogged piping.
Consulting with their boss over the phone they then told me the system do need a gas recharge but they need to wait for someone else to bring them the gas jug.
After they got the gas around 3:50 they told me the pressures in the system were not equalized and they were waiting for a Sr tech to have a look.
A second van arrived with another tech.
That tech told me they overfilled the system and now they need to vacuum some of it back
The declared the job done at 5:30PM,at the end of it I asked them if there is a leakage in the system and they couldn't answer it I asked them how many pounds they filled in and they said one pound and 60Oz but they had to vacuum 1 pound back so it was just 60 OZ .
The bill I got was for 884USD
99$-flat fee for a call
250$ - labor per hour (per 2 hours they didn't charge because they were missing equipment)
285 - Gas
I'm very disappointed with their service customer shouldn't be liable for the tech learning curve
** I'm still waiting for the receipt for that service but I shared the charge
after someone finally contacted me they came out accessed the situation and fixed it right away. John and his Apprentice Mark were excellent very thorough did a great job.
Water Heater Replacement Cost is VERY EXPENSIVE
Went to Lowes in Hudson for a replacement water heater. This was a 40 gallon electric water heater ~$500.00 range. The estimator came out, very helpful and courteous, told my wife it was a ""simple replacement installation"". The quote came in at almost $2800.00 with no details on where this costs came from. I contacted Denommee and expressed my shock at the quote. The woman was very nice and said they had an agreed upon starting price with Lowes of ""$2,245 plus the cost of the water heater"" I was even more shocked. I quoted the same thing with Home Depot at $1700.00 still a little high, but not shocking. The electrical and plumbing for this installation is already in place, probably 1hour work for a trained technician.
I tried DENOMMEE Plumbing as a recommendation from a friend. I can only say that I am very happy we gave them a try. They were very responsive even when I called them after hours. Our hot water heater failed us on a Saturday with a couple of inches of water in our basement, disaster is an understatement. They were able to get us back up and running by Tuesday with a shiny new tankless system. Their technician Ricky was extremely professional and even found another issue that could have cause us significant damage with the connecting piece on our washing machine which would have failed eventually if we were not proactive. They fixed and replaced the part the same day as well. The pricing was fair but more importantly the quality of work was perfect. Ricky and the gentleman that worked with him as well showed excellent professionalism and finished the job quickly.
Tom W.Denommee employees were knowledgeable and professional in all roles. We are very thorough customers with a lot of questions. They took extra time to answer all our questions and even came to our house again to review and modify the proposal until we felt sure the design would meet our needs. The quoting, design, install and admin staff were all very patient and thorough. They came about a week after the install was complete to do a quality check on the install and answer any questions we had. The admin staff helped us file for the state rebate too. The heat pumps are working great.
Very responsive to my request for an estimate but also expensive. I did not choose them for my furnace replacement. They were not the most expensive but I decided to go with the lowest bidder as he has done work at my house before and I have never been disappointed. This evaluation IS NOT a response to their workmanship (obviously) but rather their economy and value.
UPDATE: after considering the response from the owner that was respectful and thought provoking. I agree that my review was strictly based on a price point and could not address value. There is an added ""value"" in a company that values customer service and responds to an issue within 24 hours. There is also added ""value "" in having different trade specialist consulted or involved in a project. So I have increased to 4 stars, even though I did not hire Denomme I am confident any work done by them will be done well and have good support in the future.
