I highly recommend Dennis for your plumbing needs. he is hard-working and answered all of my many questions with a smile on his face. I hired him to replumb my shower and he was amazing. I did do some price comparisons and he actually came in lower than other companies. I will hire him every time there is a need!

Needed to have some plumbing work done at a property in Ayer - I wanted to support local business, so I called Dennis White Plumbing.
Asked receptionist (or answering service) to have someone call me to discuss work to be done. Waited a week - no response (Strike One).
Tried again following week - mentioned I called the prior week but received no call - did receive an apology and a promise for a return call. Again waited a week - no response (Strike Two).
You may be able to guess, I tried yet again, explained I never received a call - again, very apologetic, but would get a call by end of day. By end of week - still no call (Strike Three).
Much to my family's surprise, I tried a fourth time (I truly wanted to give the job to a local business). Same drill - called, explained three prior calls, and asked if maybe I should call a line other than the one found on their website. Assured me messages were being provided, and would have a call that day.
Never did hear from anyone after four attempts.
I am very patient, but cannot tolerate absolute incompetence when it comes simple customer service. The business must be very comfortable with their current customer base, because it sure has not demonstrated any interest in expanding.

Based on the previous reviewer's description, we went to the plumber's website and liked that it said they have emergency services because my heater blew a valve and flooded my basement on a Saturday (today). When I called the number, the woman who answered told me that they do not work on weekends and that I should call back on Monday or find a plumber who works weekends. We were incredulous. When we sent an e-mail to the address ""info@dennismwhiteplumbingandheating.com"" listed on the website to express our disappointment in believing what they said about emergencies, our e-mail was returned as ""undeliverable."" So much wasted time on our part trying to sift out the good service providers -- and during an emergency no less! Please mean what you say and say what you mean, otherwise it's all just words.

I needed a drain cleared in a third floor apartment and my 25' or so snake didn't do the job. I found Dennis here on Yelp and was impressed by the fact that he actually took the time to set up his business page unlike 90% of business owners in my area. I contacted them by email at around 8:30 last night and had a response this morning at 9:10 with a number to call. I called and Dennis was at my property by 2:00 and had the drain cleared in no time. He gave me an estimate before arriving of what it would cost which was in line with other plumbing companies according to people I spoke with. I'd be glad to recommend Dennis to anybody needing plumbing services and I'll be calling him back in the future.
