I have waited on responding to Dempster's ridiculous accusation that my review was a fake & that I was a ""plant"" because it is just so stupid, but after reading the drama going down on here I feel it is necessary. I WANT TO STATE FOR THE RECORD THAT Bill, you are COMPLETELY WRONG in your assumption about me. I did hire Dempster to do a job & I too had a bad experience. Obviously I did not put my real name because why the hell would I risk that? I DO NOT KNOW LIZ at all, but after reading Liz's review I totally sympathized with her & it prompted me to leave a review of my own. The fact that you would come to the conclusion that I was a FAKE/PLANT by Liz is just absurd! Paranoid much? But now after reading your responses to her, I can see that you are even crazier than I thought! I'm sure you will still just believe what you want to anyway, because clearly anytime anyone says something you don't like, you instantly blame everyone else but yourself. Hey, if it makes you feel better to think my review is fake then go right ahead! I can assure you it is NOT. In fact, I can name at least half of your employees & various personal details about them if I wanted to (how are your chickens Bill?). I purposely didn't go into details about the job, or all the things that went wrong because rehashing it is pointless (what's done is done), AND because I know you're an irrational hot-head that cannot control his anger. I am not looking for an apology, & I could care less about getting free services or discounts. In fact, I want nothing to do with Dempster ever again. I will never refer anyone to you, nor will I ever hire you for more work. MY ONLY REASON FOR POSTING is because I feel the public has a right to know that you are a nightmare of a person to deal with. You are rude & have absolutely no sense of what customer service is. You don't know how to talk to people or communicate with them properly & lack the social skills needed to provide good customer service. You have an anger problem, & you yell at your employees even in front of your customers. Nothing is ever your fault, it's always someone else who made a mistake & anyone who speaks up is part of a conspiracy against you or just ""crazy"". It is complete BS! I honestly hope that someday you will actually LISTEN to what some of your customers are saying. In fact, you SHOULD BE taking the ones who are leaving not so good reviews more seriously than the rest! Isn't that what a good business owner does? Yet instead, you just get angry & insult people. It is so off putting & in my opinion it just reflects the kind of person that you are. Anyone on here can read all of your nasty comments you leave in response to criticism & it is quite clear that you have no people skills whatsoever. It's sad & I really hope that someday you will realize that being rude is not the answer. That's all I have to say. For those who have had good experiences with your company I congratulate you!

Ok, time to finish this dreaded review. Yelp was created for customers to provide honest feedback about their experiences so others can make informed decisions. I have spent years reading and evaluating others experiences, so I felt it was time to give back. Some are great, sadly this one isn't. After I post these pictures, I will not be back in this feed, I have been contacted by quite a few people privately and I feel their pain... I really do. Fear of retaliation and backlash is definitely a factor understandably. I will make note that we found a 6 inch brand new nail strategically placed dead center in my rear tire conveniently after posting this review. I was told to post it here just in case anything else out of the ordinary happens. My husband and mechanic said this size nail is not something you drive over and it somehow pops up and punctures a tire on a moving vehicle. I agree. I am far from intimidated, I am here for the people. Customers deserve the best, and we shouldn't settle for less. That being said, here are pictures as promised. Walls were left open as I previously explained, dirt coated my entire house as seen on the shelf and the snooping worker into my sons bed. It's called a twin pop up tent, and after my son saw this he refused to sleep in it again. Wire pulled from the garbage disposal... If anyone private messages me I can dig up the rest. But I think this is plenty. Since then, I have had to replace most of my furniture including his bed and I have paid for my carpets to be cleaned multiple times. They made us feel violated and it cost much more than money to clean up their mess. I wish everyone well in their quest to find a good company to do business with, do research and invest in cameras. Well worth the money and peace of mind.

Truth is all I need. Your still confusing tenants, so sad Bill. I will pray for you. Good bye.

If anyone would like to see ALL the photos deleted per this company being upset speaking the truth, feel free to message me. Bills responses were deleted and a picture of the nail they lodged in my tire was deleted. Our apartment manager was very happy I posted all of these details. Customers deserve the truth.

My company has used Dempster plumbing for a number of very large projects, as well as smaller day to day projects. The owner, Bill, is a hand-on guy who takes pride in his company and their work. They stand behind their work and honestly, after all the projects I've had them to do for us, we've NEVER called them back because of a failure of any kind. It's top notch quality work. Aside from the larger projects, they have done small projects for us, as small as replacing a toilet in my home. I worked from home when the work was done and it was done quickly, quietly, and when all was said and done, the area was as clean as it was when the plumber walked in the door. There are different plumbing companies for different things. If top quality work at a reasonable price is your priority, these are your guys. No company is perfect, but this is really a solid plumbing operation.

So, plumber left without the toilet working. I paid 125 to have it working, which he said it was, and its not even flushing. I noticed this literally 2 minutes after they left. I didnt even use the restroom. I just flushed it, to confirm it was working, like they said.

No big deal, you would think. I can call them, and they will come right back out to fix it. I could call them, and 2 mins later they would be back and turn it on.

Nope, not how it played out. Instead, the owner picked up the phone, and told me there is no warranty on work. Yes, I understood that, but they literally left 2 mins ago. I haven't done anything. Atleast leave it fixed at the time you leave. He started yelling at me, telling me that I have roots, and I need to get a complete job done, etc. I told him, shouldn't we be speaking to your son. He is the one who was actually here, and did the work. He kept going on and on about how they did so much more work than they should of at my home. There is no warranty, etc. I finally hung up.

Big surprise, 2 mins later, he texts me and says son is coming back because he forgot to turn the water back on for the toilet.

Its about customer service people!!!

Made appointment with Dempster Plumbing for repipe estimate. The guy said he will be at our house between 3pm and 4pm today. My husband made arrangement at his work so he can be home early. No one showed up. What a waste of our valuable time. Will be going with different company. Glad that this happened now instead of later, when we are in the middle of the repiping with this company

I've used these folks twice and both times they did a great job. The hard part is arranging the work. They don't respond to voicemail and they don't return calls on your questions after you finally do contact someone. If they could fix this, they would get 5 starts from me. They didn't get my third job because I didn't want to chase them...

The work and scheduling was on time and done correctly. I had a small issue with how I was charged and the owner contacted me immediately and corrected the issue. Definitely would use them again without question.

We had a clogged toilet and low water pressure in our kitchen sink faucet. I called many plumbers and they were charging between $60-80 just to come to our house. Demster only charged $49 and was the only company that would apply this charge to any repair we had done (instead of in addition to the repair cost). I spoke to Rachael and she was very helpful. Then Corey (plumber) came about 30 min later. He talked us through the kitchen sick issue (rust from old piping) and opened the nozzle and removed the rust to return the strong water pressure (for free). He explained to us the rust would keep coming back unless the pipes causing these deposits were replaced but didn't try to pressure sell anything to us. The toilet problem was a flushed toilet paper roll holder and he explained there were 2 options: either he may be able to auger it out or if it couldn't be broken up so it could pass through, we would need a new toilet! Luckily he was able to get it out. So $80, 2 problems fixed, and good information about our house. I am relieved to have found a plumber that I would gladly go back to (I have yet to find a handyman or yard guy I can say that about).

I called this company because I was having an issue with a toilet. The service was prompt and very good, but there was miscommunication about the pricing structure and I got very upset. To the receptionist's credit, she did call the owner right away and he called me back right away. I think we resolved the issue. So, all in all, this will probably turn out to be a good experience and the owner should be commended for dealing with an issue right away.
