Rude, brusque, seems pissed off that he's there and being PAID to do a job. I think the man is a bully. He charged me $1,090 to install an ejector pump. I think I may have been ripped off. I'll never hire him again.

Dan, the person that I just talked to is so rude, arrogant and condescending. I noticed the attitude during my first call. After talking to my wife, we decided to give them a call back and confirm a schedule. During the second call, I tried to follow up and confirm about the schedule, cost, warranties, and some safety assurances and property protection. Instead of getting the confirmations, Dan asked me if I want the installation done or not. I asked for the owner, and he told me that he is the owner.

I got Demmis Plumbing number from St. Scholastica's parish newsletter, as I am a parishioner. Parishioners - this plumbing company is not good. Arrogant and rude!!

if I could give zero stars I would. The woman who answers the phone is rude and condescending and seems uneducated. couldn't work a slurpie machine at 7-11. The plumber had to come twice to fix the problem, that's how he makes his money. if you want to be talked down to and ripped off, Demmis plumbing is right up your alley.

I have used Demmis multiple times. My neighbors and immediate family have also used Demmis. They are professional, timely, clean, and do excellent work. My father was a Union Electrician in Chicago for 45 years, he said Demmis is the best plumber. I continue to recommend Demmis to everyone I know. I found them in my Church Bulletin and it was the best find yet.

Do not call this plumber. He came out to fix as sewer back up problem .Had the same issue within less than a month and the plumber refused to come back to fix the problem. Very unprofessional.

Anyone who has dignity plz avoid this plumber or else you would be humiliated before your friends and family as this plumber talks in a very condescending manner. This plumber badly needs a lesson in manners. He charges arms and legs for his services . Work is highly unreliable .

Hot water heater went out early in the morning. If anyone knows Chicago winters you know you can't be without hot water. Made a phone call to Demmis Plumbing and Sam was able to quote me a price immediately without having to get back to me. Not only that, but she got someone out same day within an hour or so. To top it off, the plumber was completely professional, replaced the old with the new very quickly and efficiently. He couldn't have been working for more than 45-60 minutes if that. Extremely impressed with overall service from beginning to end! Thank you!

I had Alex and his son here today to install a water softener. Fast and efficient work. He took time out of his scheduled work to fit me in, which I appreciate. They removed the old unit and placed it for trash pick-up and notable cleanup. They have earned my recommendation.

Had one of those annoying little problems on a Saturday. Called in the morning, out the same afternoon! Throughout, Dan kept me up to date on his arrival, finished the work fast, and was on the spot with the quote he gave me on the phone. I'll definitely keep these guys handy on my contact list! Also, he showed up with a mask so great job being careful with your customers! Excellent customer service!
