Called Delta for a drain cleaning for the Advertised $79. The guy showed up late and informed my tenant there was a $15 fuel charge FIRST THING OUT OF HIS MOUTH. Tenant called me and I said agree to it even tho that should of been disclosed prior to his arrival.Gas prices are a little over $2 a gallon. The guy ran a snake down the line and a camera then told my tenant he was more of a septic guy and he would have to bring a plumber out the next morning. Never heard from them. And now they will never hear from me again.

Customer beware! **This review is in regards to septic service** Delta """"the educated"""" Plumber uses bait and switch tactics to up-charge unexpecting victims, aka customers, by luring them in with coupons that discount their septic pumping service to $188 for a 1,000 gallon tank, or $288 for a 1,500 gallon tank. These are very good rates, but what they don't tell you is, there is a fee of $125 to dig up the tank, which makes them more expensive than most other reputable companies (so much for that fictitious coupon). But wait, the joyride doesn't end there...not by a long shot! If you have anything floating in your tank, you have """"excess solids"""" which is an additional fee of $250 dollars. News flash, there will always be floating solids, called """"scum"""" which is the oil, grease, and fats. The """"scum layer"""" is more viscous than water, which causes it to float on the surface (this is normal) but Delta Plumbing feels you should pay an additional $250 which is more than the """"discounted"""" pumping service, for some fabricated nomenclature they made up to further extort money from their uninformed customers. But why stop there? Let's not forget the hydro-jetting fee, environmental fee, and camera line fee, which are all """"required services"""" that add on hundreds if not thousands of dollars! Take it from a victim who foolishly fell prey to these purveyors of poop...educate yourself, read reviews, and avoid getting ripped off.

Wow, where do I begin. After contacting them and explaining we had an overflowing toilet draining water and whatever else into my office we were told they would be out between 4-6pm that day. They showed up at 7:30. They """"cleared"""" the drain without any drop cloths, spewing sewage all over my walls, did no clean up and replaced my toilet without a shim. When I contacted them they said they would come back the next day to fix the toilet, they never showed for 2 days and the weekend went by. I contacted them again, they finally showed but still never shimmed the toilet. This all the while I was going to hire them for a $3000 job to fix the pipe to the street. Turns out, that didn't need to be done as it was the responsibilty of the City. I can't imagine they didn't know this may be the case. They didn't bother to check. However, they did show up after all the mess above with their earth moving equipment and just start on the job. A job I never authorized. I guess they thought if they just started, we would comply. We did not. I have no trust in this company. I will absolutely never give them any business ever again, and you shouldn't either. Late to show up, did not complete the work correctly and did not follow up on time. Not even close. Stay away. Update in response: Yes, I had roots in my line as the Delta plumbing representative mentioned in his rebuttal to my review. What he didn't mention is that they were under the street and the responsibility of the city. They wanted me to move forward with 3k of work that was not on my property. And yes, I was traveling and did not sign a contract and they took this as an opportunity to start the work without my consent. Look at the reviews of this company and come to your own conclusion. Always get a second opinion.

These guys are top notch! Ask for Catfish and sewer munchers. They did an excellent job! Very knowledgeable, professional and above all friendly! If you are having plumbing problems ask for these guys and tell them Arty said hello

Anyone needing a plumber think twice about them. I contacted them for a leak that sprung in a interior wall and caused the laminate floor to flood. Sat. they came and said it would be taken care of , he cut a hole in the wall to locate it which he said was $125 he did not have the needed tool to chip about 1 to 2 inch of concrete from the slab around the gray pipe to fix it. and would have to come back sunday../ I was not at home and he told my wife the cost would be over $600. We are elderly and feel he took us to the cleaners to fix it as we were over a barrel. I later received phone estimates of $225 and 195.00. I can submit pics if anyone wants to see the 8-10"""" piece he replaced and the small area he chipped.

I would give them 0 stars if possible My septic tank backed up one Sunday. I called Delta because of their ads on the radio. The technicians were arrogant and rude. They quoted me WAY OVERPRICED prices. Ridiculous charges such as excess solids, scoping the line (which they never showed me or reviewed with me), jetting the line (which wouldn't need to be done if water was flowing through it). I had them do the work because I didn't know what the pricing should have been. They took advantage of me because I was a woman at home alone. They left with the top of the septic tank not put on properly, the cap on the clean out not on, and trash in the yard. I wrote a letter of complaint but after 3-4 phone calls, Jacob (the son of 1 of the owners) refunded me $100. He called to tell me that they left my septic lid off for my own good! He defended his technicians and wasted my time and his with phone calls. It's all about the money for them. They don't stand behind their work or care about you. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

asked before they started how much it would run.answer.four to five hundred to clear/jjet line to tank.two hours later the bill was 1500 dollars, and that was supposed to a discount.they did dig up a tank lid, said it nedded to be pumped(for 3000 dollars) which we declined.so they closed it up.all in two hours.for an eighty six year old on fixed income seems more like robbery.

I had these guys out to clear some roots out of my main line. They have a $79 charge for that...BUT the first thing the guys who came out tried to do was tack on an extra charge. After waiting for them to call the office and then claim they didn't know it was just $79, the lead guy wanted to quote me on replaced the entire 35 foot line for the low price of $3,500. When I declined and asked him to clear the line he claimed he didn't have the equipment with him and left. I called back in to get the story from the office and they verified that the guys DID have the equipment on the truck AND there would be an extra charge to clear the roots. Needless to say, after catching these guys lying and setting me back 2 days on clearing the line and wasting a lot of my time in the process, I wouldn't trust these guys to cross the street for a dollar. My opinion is that they are fishing for people to scam on a routine basis. UPDATE: I rented a power snake from Home Depot for $50, the same standard equipment these clowns have available to them, not even the heavy duty stuff. I learned how to use it and clearing my line was a one man job that took 15 minutes. These guys weren't coming out to help me, they were definitely coming out to attempt to browbeat me into a sky high repair job as I can now prove they were lying yet again about how they needed to do an addiitional charge like the job was a special job or something else made up. Don't waste your time and they have plenty of other people they can scam anyway so they don't need your business.

We needed our septic tank pumped out so my wife shopped around online and found Delta Plumbing had a """"special rate"""" of $288. We called in Saturday morning & they said they would be there between 4-6pm. Great because we needed it done. The driver, Todd, showed up at 5:45pm as promised. He and his helper located the tank and there was the 1st up charge. They don't charge to dig if your tank is 18"""", mine was 2' so that's an additional $125. At this point I'm catching into the scam. I ask what is going to be the bottom line. Todd shows me the price sheet of all the up charges and tells me he won't know until he gets the tank open how much we are looking at. I ask how much it will cost me to get the tank open. Todd said that it would cost the $125 dig fee and if I didn't like the final price they wouldn't do anything else. Once it was open I was told there would be a charge for too much crust, cleaning the filter, over the water level, and an environmental charge! The bottom line was $895!!! A long way from the $288 we were quoted on the phone. I told Todd not to do it. I was not going to pay that much. I called BJ&T Septic. They were there before Todd left. He pumped the tank for $300. Let me be clear, Todd was a nice and knowledgable guy he just works for a terrible company. DONT EVER CALL DELTA PLUMBING FOR ANY REASON, EVER!!!

I would give them 0 stars if it were possible. They're running a $79 special to clear your pipes for a clean drain. So when I called to make an appointment I checked to make sure that that was a valid price with no extra charges. The lady on the phone said that was right so I made an appointment. All I needed was a clear pipe so the water from my sink would be clear and go down easily. When the plumbers came, it was a different story. They said my pipe had to be removed so they would have to charge an extra $75 to have it removed. Which sounded pretty crazy to me! I called my dad to validate what they were saying. Turns out all I had to do was unscrew two sections of the pipe, like unscrewing a medicine bottle, to avoid that $75 fee. Afterwards they weren't very friendly and I made sure my dad came to see that their work actually worked. I would not recommend them. Later the plumber apologized for the """"mixup"""" and said it was a """"new policy"""". Also! They charged me a $15 """"fuel charge"""" for making them come to my home to do their job, which was also not mentioned when I made my call. Awful service.
