This company does not hold a master plumbing license which is required to install water heaters. Also they do really horrible work without permits or inspections.

I made an appointment for a toilet installation on Dec. 30th. Delta service person was a NO SHOW. I took time off work for this appointment-and waited for 4 hours for the installer. I then rescheduled for Jan 3rd because Delta was closed on the 31st- guess what? Delta was a NO CALL- NO SHOW and I have had a toilet sitting in my living room for 5 days. If you are looking for reliable, dependable service, do not bother calling Delta Mechanical.

I had dealt with this company for almost 2 weeks on my Home Depot water heater install. Just had my inspection a month later. Had installed on a Thursday because old one was leaking. Everything seemed fine. Friday I planned to leave town and while in my basement I heard a faint alarm. It was the water alarm installed in the new drip pan that wasn't hooked into the drain line. It was barely auditable. well, the heater was leaking from the pressure valve onto my floor. Was barely making it into the drip pan. Called, got an appointment for Monday AFTERNOON! Well the tech was 2 hours out by 2 in a rural area. I have things to do so I got rescheduled to Tuesday am. Tech came out, installed a new pressure regulator on the line (left old leaking one on) and installed a expansion tank and strapped down the pressure valve line. Well, the good news is the alarm works now. Bad news is that I have a leaking old pressure regulator and the tank is still leaking quite a bit. Called to have someone out and was told 10am. Well, at 11 am I called and was told window is 10-2.... On a leaking water heater? There is no prioritization of emergencies or leaking installs over anyone else. Asked for a manager twice without a return call. Finally the third time was through the inspection manager and I received a call. I doubt they care so Im not sure the annoyance of speaking to anyone with matter. I would never use this company or Home Depot install services again on these types of items. Lesson learned.

I had my water heater replaced by Delta Mechanical. I am extremely satisfied with their services. This is an old house and the old water heater was 30 years old. There were several unexpected problems due to this issue. Chris Seward was the technician who completed the work. He explained everything clearly, he walked me through the process, explained the relevant codes and recommended appropriate resolutions. Chris kept me informed at each step and showed me the work as it progressed.
Amber in their Mesa office worked up the costs and explained that part completely and I understood it when the call was completed. She was extremely professional and courteous.
I highly recommend this company.

Requested a quote for a tank-less water heater. Took a day off from work to meet the representative (who was very nice) and we spent time measuring & checking the home for the effort. We NEVER heard back from them.

My first water heater replacement was a great experience, as far as water heater replacements can go. My water heater failed on Friday night, on Saturday morning I called 3 ""local"" big name plumbers who all quoted me between $1800 and $2100 dollars, however they couldn't get anyone there until Monday for an actual quote. I decided to at least buy the water heater, as it was 600 less than what the plumbing companies were going to sell me. I got to Home Depot at about 11, and they told me they could get it installed that day, since it was before noon. And they did. Andrew was there at about 3, talked with me and showed interest even in what my 5 year old daughter was doing. He took out the old water heater and replaced it in about 45 minutes, and gave me a water sensor for the drip pan he had. Great guy, great work, and I would definitely call him again for any future repairs I might need, with no second thought.

Update- the last fail was not Delta's fault, the inspector from Regional did not go into my attic to see what he said was missing. Andrew Coleman came and took a picture, showed me it was there, and apologized profusely for the Miss by the inspector. He was very apologetic and professional. I appreciate him locally, I still am frustrated with their Arizona call center. I would do business again, but only if Andrew was the one I was working with, he gets 5 stars.
Bought a water heater at Home Depot and used their installers, Delta Mechanical, to install. Moved shortly after and was getting the house ready to sell and we are informed that the permit is still open, almost 3 months later. Call to schedule inspection and am told Delta has to schedule it. I leave multiple messages over a week period with no call back because the girl who schedules for my area is out.
Finally get inspection and it fails. I misunderstood the inspector and thought it was only the minor thing of having a ladder available and putting door grates on the door. I do those things, call for another inspection, it still fails. The vent is messed up and the inspector informs me that Delta should have called me because they received the failed inspection report and know they need to fix.
Delta does call, comes back, I assume they've fixed it. Another inspection and again FAIL! I call and am told they will be back the next day between 4 & 6, 6:00 rolls around, they haven't shown up. I call, they tell me my appointment is between 3 & 7 but they'll call the technician. I'm on hold a few minutes and they tell me he's 20 minutes away. I'm still waiting, 40 minutes later.
I will NEVER do business with this company again and I will let Home Depot know what terrible service I've gotten, not to mention the lost wages while I wait around for them to arrive and all the inspections that have failed.

Wonderful experience with Delta Mechanical with my hot water heater project via Home Depot. Andrew Coleman was very professional and helpful - explaining everything and helping us to understand how our new equipment worked. He provided amazing service and we are very grateful for his wonderful work. Thanks!

We bought a very expensive hot water heater from Home Depot, delta mechanical came out and installed it. With the money we were paying, I thought it would be a thorough professional job; it was not.
The installer had turned off the heater and the water to the washer dryer and didn't turn them back on. The inspector failed the job, because it was not level and a matter about carbon monoxide detectors. A week after the inspection, a soldered joint failed. It's been hell to try to get the inspection rescheduled. No; I am not happy with this company, if you pay the ungodly amount of money, you should expect it to be done right the first time.

Lost 12year old HW Heater late on Tues this week. Called our home heating & ac company and by next morning had a technician unprepared to repair anything...charged us $90 for his service call, estimated $1900-2000 to replace the unit and couldn't commit to a date that such an installation could occur and insisted on moving a supply pipe as it was in his way. I called Home Depot service and they immediately sold me a HW heater and scheduled the repair for that afternoon for ~$1400. I sent the first guy away....
Andrew Coleman of Delta Mechanical showed on time with new unit and plenty of prep to do what was needed to install. No req'd re-route of the supply line, just straight out with old, in with new....done in less than an hour. Full tutorial on the new unit, prep for the county inspection already scheduled, and description of service and warranty left right on the tank. These guys are the best; recommend you all use the Home Depot service and Delta Mechanical.
