This company has the worst customer service and is supremely unreliable.

They cancelled installation appointments the day of TWICE.

Customer Service was incompetent at best and unhelpful. When trying to get service expedited after the multiple cancellations, they actually insisted us try using another company - who does that?

This is the 2nd time a contractor through Home Depot has been late, unprofessional and awful service. Avoid Home Depot at all costs!

How does Home Depot even contract with this company????? I called them for a quote on installing a new water heater or potentially going tankless. They took my call and sent out someone for a quote the next day (good start). Instead someone came out who WAS NOT an estimator and explained the estimators were all busy, so he was going to take pictures and measurements and take it back to the office and an estimator would get back to me. He was barely able to answer any questions I had. AND of course, it's been a week and still no response from them. No estimate received! No email, phone call... NOTHING! What a joke.

I got a toilet installed on Friday the 12th of November by Andrei. How very disappointing when after giving him a generous tip, he cared little about doing an excellent job. The water level in the bowl was so low that I was concerned about our waste going through the pipes and come to find out the hose connecting the fill valve to the flush valve had such a bad kink in it that water was not getting through. Well good for Delta Mechanical they sent someone out on a Saturday to check it out and all he did was unkink it to a degree and switched the hose around. While this other gentleman was here I asked him to see if my toilet was square. When putting the leveler on my toilet it was so off square that it didn't even register anywhere near the middle. That's probably why I feel like I'm leaning to the right while using the toilet. Also the first gentleman Andrei left a big pile of debris in the back corner of my toilet that I did not see until he left and I know he had a vacuum because he already used it. By the way this is the company Home Depot on Fairmont Avenue hooked me up with for my installation and I would not go through Home Depot again to get my toilet installed unless they get a more reputable company. This company, in my opinion, will ruin Home Depots reputation if they keep using them. BTW the water level is better due to the 2nd gentleman. My toilet is not seated on the floor and I was given some kind of excuse. Also given an excuse that my floor was not level which can be remedied if your people know what they are doing. Unbelievable!

There are several reasons I would avoid this company. The biggest reason is that they are ridiculously expensive. Also, Home Depot says the price will be $129 to install a toilet at the store and says that includes everything, including a valve. Guys show up to do the toilets and it is $199 and doesn't include the valve, they say that would be an extra $65 and they don't know why Home Depot keeps saying that it includes everything and the valve. Do yourself a favor and get a local handyman or local plumber to do the job.

One of the worst experience dealing with their customer service depart. They installed my water heater a few years back. The tank is leaking and tried to have warranty services on it. They tried to avoid it and said its costco(purchase the service through it). The contract clearly stated that it's Delta Mechanical'extended warranty and yet they try to punt the liability to Costco. That's the worst company I ever dealt with. Stay away..

THIS COMPANY CANCELED AGAIN!!!! That's two cancels and 1 crooked vanity and 1 late and out of time frame!!! This is the worst company I have ever worked with! We have to contract with them because they already screwed up the vanity BUT avoid them at all costs if you can!! Please don't use them, especially if you have a life or kids!!!

Btw they posted call us so we can make this right, but still canceled today. So they just wrote that to look like they care!!!

Bad bad company!!!!!!!!

I spoke to a contractor that knows this company and he said that if it's small jobs they will take new water heater jobs over it because they make a lot more money. Soooooo plain and simple don't contract with these people. They never once did anything right in all this. Crooked vanity, late, and 2 cancellations!!! What company can sustain like that. Again, going to Home Depot to try to get them to change their contract with them!!!

I wanted to write you about the awesome experience I had with Joey, the man you guys sent to install my water heater. I had purchased a new water heater two years ago and it corroded at the top. I sent a picture to Rheem and they were going to give me some credit back on a replacement. I was still frustrated because I was going to have to purchase a new one and pay installation on something that was two years old. I purchased a new water heater and arranged for Delta to pick it up and install a new one. When Joey arrived today with the new one, he looked at the old one and realized that the unit was still good, it just needed some new connectors on it. I told him that ""he is the expert"" and I appreciated his assessment of the situation. He called his office and let them know of the situation and I decided to have him do the repairs on the older unit. He did a great job on that and explained everything very thoroughly to me. I was beyond satisfied. I told him that I was thankful that he saved me an installation fee and that I would be able to get a full refund on the unopened one he delivered. When I told him that I was going to rent a truck to deliver the old one back and that I was still saving way more money than I would had I rented a truck to deliver the older one back for store credit, he said that since I already paid a fee to have him deliver it, he would take the brand new one back to Home Depot for me so that I didn't have to rent a truck and I could get my refund. This was by far the greatest customer experience I have ever had. I have been in retail management for over twenty years and can't recall ever delivering or hearing about service of that quality. Please recognize Joey for the outstanding job he did and I will definitely be sharing this experience with others. A great guy!

Our kitchen faucet started leaking, spraying water all over the place. We ordered a new faucet from HD, and installation by Delta Mechanical. It was scheduled for today (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM window). 2:05- No installer. 2:20- No installer. Called the company, was put on hold for 20 minutes, and then an automated voice told me to leave a message. The installer never came, and no one called me back. We've had to hire a local plumber, which we should have done in the first place.

I just received a quote from Delta Mechanical (via Home Depot) to install a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater for $2,920.00 in Oceanside, CA. I have an existing, almost identical, older version installed already, so the work requires replacing two valves and running two short sections (approx. 18"") of copper line. I purchased the brand new water heater for under $1000.00. I cannot believe a company would charge such a ridiculous amount of money to replace 2 water lines and hook up a unit that already has a mount, the gas and electric plumbed in. This company likely takes advantage of people who may not get a second quote from a reputable company.

Would give zero stars if i could. I had a water heater installed four years ago from home depot (using Delta Mechanical to install). It cost me $1300. Due to Delta's faulty installation in just four years i had to replace the water heater and they charged me an additional $700 installation fee. Twice the city failed them on this new inspection. I still have a water heater with water literally inside the base of it. I have had to call and email and harrass them to come back out after the second failed inspection and only received attitude. I have just ordered a home warranty through AHS so that i never have to use Home Depot or Delta Mechanical again.
