We had a water heater burst just before midnight. We shut off the water and gas and cleaned up, then went to the Home Depot website and requested they reach out for what we hoped would be a same day replacement. They emailed me that Delta Mechanical was assigned as my contractor and would be reaching out. I immediately started reading reviews here and became very worried, but those worries were unfounded.

Delta reached out to us at 7 AM and clarified what we needed and quoted a price and time for install today and said their tech would be in touch. Right at the time I was given, the technician Nathaniel reached out and let me know he had just picked up the hot water heater from Home Depot and would be here in 20 minutes. He arrived right when he said he would. He was super professional and just a really pleasant person. He explained everything to me before having me sign electronically to approve the work. I left him to it and he got the install done in 2 or 3 hours and everything looks and works great. One final discussion to explain the new equipment to me and then he had me sign and he was on his way. He didn't leave any kind of mess and took the old unit and packaging with him.

After reading all the bad reviews, I was beyond happy to receive such great service. I know others may have had some bad experiences, but our experience was incredibly positive.

Run from this company! I wish we could give zero stars! (Short version) We purchased a toilet from Home Depot and paid the $199.00 for installation. Delta Mechanical contacted us for the installation of the toilet. The toilet was installed in the upstairs guest bathroom. The toilet was flushed a few days later to clear the plumbing since it had not been used. Upon coming downstairs, dripping was heard in the ceiling under where the toilet was installed. We contacted Delta Mechanical and two technicians came the next morning. They removed the toilet and said there was no evidence of leaking. I asked one of the technicians to go downstairs and listen after the toilet was flushed. Sure enough there was water dripping after the flush. The technician said that he couldn't be sure what was happening unless he opened up the ceiling. He also stated that he could not open the ceiling until he reported to his manager/supervisor. Tuesday afternoon after their visit, the toilet was running periodically so I turned off the water to the toilet.
Since we did not hear from Delta Tuesday afternoon, I called Wednesday morning, Wednesday afternoon, twice Thursday morning being told, ""the manager is away from her desk, the manager is gone for the day, the manager says she will be in at 9:30 am, our managers do not arrive until 11:00, 11:30."" I twice asked to speak to another manager or supervisor but was denied. Thursday afternoon I finally reached the woman in charge of claims. She said your claim is denied. What? At this point water had been sitting in the ceiling for days. She directed me to call a leak detection company which we did. The leak detection report stated:
Wax ring failure, wax ring installed by Home Depot/Delta plumbing failed due to improper installation. Wax ring not compressed fresh as if out of a retail box. This resulted in water leak from second floor to first floor.
This nightmare began on April 30th. We are more than a month in and we have received no word from Delta Mechanical about accepting fault with their install. Water restoration alone is at $3600.00. Shame on Delta Mechanical. Again, run don't walk away from this company. Own your mistake and accept financial responsibility.

Luis was on time, very professional, and did an amazing job!!
I had to order a new control valve (covered by warranty) and he came out again and changed it out!

My sister got a plumber through Home Depot. She set up the apointment and we met at my moms place to fix the hot water heater control box or to have it installed. The guy joseph told me he fixed it with out having to replece the control box I had gotten to install. When I had set it myself the time I thought I fixed it but i could not turn the thing to hot. All said and done he charged us 189.00 for a ""trip charge"" 189.00 for turning a nob. Dissapointed my mom had to pay that.

We had a new water heater installed today .It was such a great experience. The techs Andy and Joey were awesome, very professional and so knowledgeable. They really took the time to explain everything. We've used other companies in the past but these guys are the best from the price to the quality of their workmanship. We really couldn't be happier and looking forward to having them help with future plumbing needs.

I hired the Delta mechanics to replace my old water heater because they are the Home Depot designated water heater installer. They were easy to talk to, also I got the installation appointment the next day, which was all good. But on the day of installation, I found out the price they quoted me did not include the purchase of the water tank, which I thought I had confirmed with the sales guy that the quote did include the water tank. It was very frustrated. Luckily, the technician Luis Cisneros was very considerate and offered great help. He talked to Home Depot managers, as well as Delta mechanics tried to get me a good deal on purchasing a new Water tank, I ended up paid a good rate for the new water tank. Luis is a very good technician, he removed all the old rusty pipes and connectors, and installed new pipes and the new water tank looks fabulous. He also made suggestion on setting of the hot water level, and how to self-diagnostic any problems. He also told that Delta Mechanics offers pipe fix and other services. What a great employee. I wish I can give him 20 stars. Luis made it happen after all the hustles. My family love the new water heater.

Phone contact honest estimate and timely and courteous install by Rafael. Very clean,per code, and reasonable cost. My brother is a retired plumber and speaks highly of Delta. Highly recommend.

They installed a new garbage disposal but forgot to remove the plastic knockout (hint: this is basic 101 for a business that does plumbing, it's not rocket science). I kept it as a reminder to find a different plumber next time - lol.
