Tatiana Y.I bought bathroom items at Home Depot and installation supposed to be done by third party. I was waiting for 3 days for them to call me.... No calls. I called today myself. Terrible service and customer service.
Took me 7 minutes to wait on a phone call, which is ok. Female rep answered on a phone and hung up on me!
I had to call again. After 15 mins came to right quoting depart. Meanwhile music of this company does not give realistic verbiage: we will be with you immediately, we provide best and comparable pricing, yeah..... wrong.
They said installation $350 and hauling old items additional fees $100 or more depending of weight..
Wow , local company gave me a quote of $215.
Joyce S.The installers were very nice, very quick. The people at this company are very knowledgeable. They have contract with Home Depot.
Daniel M.Stress relieving experience from start to finish! I had a 16 year old water heater that started leaking. I got lucky and caught it before it could have been a lot worse. I wet vacced the mess and was in mental disarray trying to figure out the next steps.
Google made me aware that Home Depot installs and removes water heaters through Delta Mechanical. I filled out an online form and started out with a little phone tag with Tom. Mondays are crazy! He was accommodating in reaching back at the right time, efficient, and guided me to gather the needed specs for him to put together a quote under a weekday time crunch.. He set me up with an estimate and billed it to my Home Depot credit card.
The next day, I got an email advising that Roy was en route and he arrived promptly after receiving notification. He gave me a few tips and insight regarding the severity of the water damage.
Smooth experience with a 6 year warranty. Highly recommended!
Nikolay did a great job installing my new RHEEM water heater and expansion tank. Clean install. He was professional and courteous.
Bob B.Great technician who knew what he was doing. No mess was left behind when he finished. Due to an operation last week, followed by a leaking water tank, I was unable to do this replacement myself.
Bruce L.The installer did a nice job with my water heater. My only problem was with the office. They gave me a four hour window from 8:30 until noon. Got a call around 12:20 saying he would be late. Showed up at 3:15. If I was his 3rd or 4th stop, why do they say he could be there at 8:30am.
It was still better than Unique Air who installs for Lowe's. They set up two different appointments to see the job, and didn't call or show up either day.
The gentleman who installed my water heater was very efficient and professional. the company backing him up was not. Did not honor the quote he gave me nor the confirmation of his quote when I called up the office to confirm it.
I installed the water heater that was being replaced 24 years ago. I decided that I didn't want to move the old and new heaters around again and to let Home Depot take care of all the extra time and effort.
Home Depot and Delta Mechanical scheduled everything well. However, when it came time for delivery and installation, things became sub optimal.
I was scheduled to be the first call in the morning between 0800 and 1000. I had to call at 0955 to determine when the installation would occur. The phone staff at Delta were semi rude and no manager was available. I disconnected and called back then chose another option. I got another semi rude individual despite advising that I was calling back due to lousy phone handling the first time I called. I was ultimately advised that the technician would call me (I had to request a call) when they were through with their first call, an emergency from last evening.
The technician didn't call or text. I discovered they had arrived by accident. I was viewing a damn text message from Delta and it had a link to determine where the technician was. The link advised me he had arrived.
Since I had installed the water heater I wanted to watch and learn what factors I might have forgotten. The technician almost tripped over his tools that had been left carelessly on the floor. At that point I quit watching because I had determined enough to realize I would complain. I didn't want to observe any more sloppy technique.
When the job was completed, the technician showed me a scratched paint surface on the water heater and a bent drainage pan on the bottom. I'm pretty sure the clearance was tight but I'm not convinced that the paint scratch was necessary. The same holds true for the drainage pan.
I would not recommend this company to anyone as a result of their customer service delivery.
Marty S.I was a bit hesitant after reading reviews here on Yelp and Google as this is Home Depot's default contractor for Hot Water heater installations. But home depot had the best quote by far for an entirely new setup, new unit, new stand, new pan, and expansion tank.
I was able to schedule appointment on the weekend, however they called me Friday morning and said they had a cancellation and asked if I wanted to keep my appointment or have them come at 12PM that day.
I opted for the same day install so I didn't have to get up at 8AM saturday morning, install tech showed up EXACTLY on time, noon sharp. Got straight to work and 1.5 hours later it was fully installed and heating.
Overall very satisfied so far, it's been about an hour and water is already reaching the correct temperature.
Andrew C.We recently had to replace our water heater. We purchased one through Home Depot and they worked with Delta Mechanical to install the new water heater. They installed it the day scheduled and so far no issues ??
