I cannot say enough bad things about Delta Bay's ""work"". I hired them for a new roof and siding. When the rain finally came, all leaked, siding uneven and damaged by hammers, nails sticking out, hole punched through my ceiling. Left the demolition trash in my driveway for weeks. Don't return calls. Don't show up on time. Nails in my driveway. BAD. DISHONEST.

Very reliable, had some work done recently on the roof, The crew was amazing. Kept updating us on all they were doing. One of the very few honest and truthful companies out in the Valley. Definitely recommend them. 5/5

Unprofessional service. Leaves trash by his crew all over my yard. Trash from demo not picked up for weeks. House damaged, water pipe damaged, shed damaged. Told he would fix problems, but never showed up. Excuses everytime he finally answered. Save yourself headaches and go somewhere else.

They're very unprofessional and unethical. They'll ghost you after getting paid and will never answer your calls. I would NOT recommend getting work done from them. Spend a little more out of your budget if you have to but DO NOT give your business to them. They kept telling us they'll send someone to complete an unfinished job for 2 week but NO ONE came. We called everyday and no one showed up. They're thiefs and cons.

Up to now, though I haven't had a rain to test for leaks, I'm very pleased with this company. They couldn't have been more professional. They were always there early and worked very diligently, cleaned up at the end of each day. They were very considerate of the neighbors' parking and property. Every job was done with professional precision from the dry rot rafter tails to the gutters and shingles. I carefully inspected nail placement and alignment. All is done now except for the down spouts which will be done tomorrow, and that will complete the job. This was a very complex job which was not able to be done by five other contractors until September or October, I'm sure happy to get this out of the way, now I can have my home painted and get my beautiful home back.

I had my roof replaced the end of December 2013 and still have leaks in 2 of the 4 places that were leaking initially. I have had them out twice since then and my roof is still leaking. I cannot proceed with the ceiling repairs nor get my house ready to rent or sell until the roof is fixed and I am beside myself. I called the city inspector's office on Wednesday July 12th to see if I could have them come out and inspect the roof and they are telling me a final inspection was never done on my roof. It was 5PM when they called so I called Delta the next morning and asked to speak to Joe and was told he was out doing an estimate. I left all of my information above along with name, address and phone number. I just received a call from Valerie July 14th 12:15PM asking if I needed an estimate. She told me that they are a different company. (Same name, address, email and phone number but they have a different license?) She said I should call Joe on his cell phone. She said I was rude. I am upset but I was not rude. I was trying to get information. She told me the owner's name is Sylvester. When I asked for the owner's last name she said I needed to call Joe. ""Do you want his number?"" I got Joe's number and then she hung up on me. I am shaking and can't believe the way she spoke to me and she calls me rude. When I got my initial estimate in September of 2013 I was told that the leaks could be fixed for 6K or I could get a new roof with 10 year warranty for 10K. I chose the new roof and came to the office in October to pick out my material and trim. After several weeks I was called to set up the installation appointment. My roof was half torn off when Joe called to say they did not have the roofing material I ordered and I would need to come in and pick out something else. My choices were considerably limited. I was disappointed but I said to myself as long as my roof is fixed that's what's important. There's so much more but what I am trying to convey is find a roofing company with some integrity. This company does not deserve your business.

Never again!!!!

I used Delta Bay Construction and Roofing in Stockton to repair water damage to my house in 2012. I was satisfied with the job and referred them to friends and family. The people I referred to them were definitely not satisfied with Delta Bay. My sister hired them to do a roof repair, but they kept failing to show up. No call or anything, they just no-showed, and kept refusing to return her calls. Based on that, I should not have called them in December when I needed tile work done. I didn't know who else to call, so I called them (December 2016). The foreman came out to look at job, and said they would definitely do it, and that they would be emailing me a quote. I waited for days, and no one contacted me. I called and talked to the office manager (cannot remember her name), and she said she would call the foreman and get back to me that day. No one from Delta Bay Construction ever contacted me again, and I got another company (Dominguez Construction) to do the work. The job was only approx. $500.00. I think the job was such a small job, that Delta Bay didn't want to do it, or they were overextended. Whatever the reason, they blew me off. It would have been the right thing to do to at least let me know they couldn't or wouldn't do the job, instead of keeping me waiting, and then just never contacting me. I don't want to do business with this company ever again. Don't worry Delta Bay Construction & Roofing, I will not be bothering you again.

WE had the same experience as Sara L. They are unprofessional and sub standard work doesn't begin to cover it. The 4 week job took them 7 months. They showed up once a week one laborer. They left us in shambles having to file a CSLB complaint and go after their Bond Company to cover repair costs due to the damages left behind. The shower is non functional due to incorrect plumbing and it leaks water, water damaged and cracked ceilings, sloppy electrical work, unfinished paint and a list too long to write. Such sloppy work we need to hire a second contractor to fix. Last night the plumbing work on the tub burst pouring all of the tub water through the floor...I suspect we will be paying for years to come. This bathroom is for a disabled child and the only bathroom in our home. Joe and Juan had no problem leaving us in distress and putting our family in a desperate circumstance.

I can not even begin to stress how important it is to call another company. We had a nightmare of a situation. As a matter of fact, the owner's name is Joe and we have since nicknamed him ""Sloppy Joe"" because he doesn't take pride in his work.

Nearly everything Joe and his careless crew did was messy and unprofessional. When we addressed these obvious issues, Sloppy Joe became defensive and arrogant. There is no talking to him.... his lousy work is completely acceptable in his sloppy mind. He will not take responsibility and will throw it in your face that he's been around for so many years. Well.... newsflash Sloppy Joe... it doesn't make sloppy work ok just because you've been around for a while.

Also very skeptical of the only other positive review on this company. Look at that persons history. He/she has over (30) 5-Star Reviews and only 1 that is not. Seriously?! I always dig into who the only other ""positive"" reviewer is and what the agenda might be. If it looks questionable, then I don't consider it in the process of making a huge construction decision. Another Yelper read my review and sent a message informing me that a bunch of that persons other reviews are for plumbers and electricians. Good catch.... If someone is so happy with one, why are there so many different ones on there. Things that make you go ""hmmmmmmm""
