Founded in 1998 by David DellGrottaglia, Wendy took on financial management in 2003, and in 2004, their son joined the company after finishing school. At present, we have a team of fourteen employees, a fleet of seven vans, and our office/warehouse located in the heart of Columbia County.
Since 1998, we have proudly served as a family-run company, employing a dedicated team of fourteen staff and nurturing a community-focused approach. We provide installation and repair for plumbing, climate control, and air conditioning for your household and commercial space.

I contacted Dells' to schedule a minor repair for a leaky sink faucet. They said the soonest appointment was over six weeks later. When I said I would like to make the appointment, I was told I needed to leave a $200 deposit before any appointment could be scheduled. I asked about their refund policy and was told there would be a $45 cancellation fee, even if I canceled the following day.
I've never heard of any similar kind of a policy. I made a appointment with a different plumber.
Dell installed a Mitsubishi split unit in July. I live in a 19th C. house and am a worry wort. Bad combination for any contractor. All the folks at Dell were terrific in soothing my jitters. Love the unit and highly recommend Dell.
Had a unplanned water heater failure. Called them at 2 pm. Before 3 pm that day the owner Dave and Sean showed up with a water heater. Done by 5. Absolutely incredible customer service!
About five years ago Dell's Plumbing installed a Viessman propane furnace in my large house. Sometime during the night while the temperature was dropping to minus 5F, the furnace faulted and went offline. I called Dell's main number and got a cell number for Wendy. I called her around 6:00 as she was about to leave the house to go to work (at Dell's). By 7:45 Sean was at work at my furnace. By 9:30 it was fixed and the house had stopped it inexorable temperature drop. Dell's has always been responsive. But this time it was extraordinary IMHO. They have to be getting a high number of calls from others having their own problems due to arctic weather. I'm sure they got the same excellent repair service I did. Without the slightest reservation I would recommend Dell's to anyone, family and friends included. Happy New Year to all at Dell's! And thanks again in particular to Wendy and Sean.
Robert N.Called them on a recommendation from the manufacture. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating to my schedule. The tech that came out REALLY knew his stuff, he fixed my issue, showed me some tips and was a super nice guy.
If you are looking for a 1st class company to help with your plumbing & heating needs Dell's is the company to call. David, Wendy & Robin were a termendous help when we had an issue with our furnance and the technicians are top notch. They were in, had the problem diagnosed and fixed in a very short time and you would have not noticed they were there. Unlike some companies when their people leave the work area a complete mess.If you want a true professional company and you want it done right the 1st time call Dell's.
