The journey began when my father, William DeGasperi, chose to leave Plumbers Union Local 2 after 23 years to start his own venture named Bill’s Plumbing. In high school, I enrolled in the Board of Cooperative Education for Plumbing from 1989 to 1991, where I proudly secured 1st place in a skills Olympics competing against over 30 other trade schools. I seized every opportunity to work with my dad—after school, during breaks, and over the summer. I loved those experiences and maintain the same passion for our work now as I did 30 years back! In 1994, we updated our name to Wm. DeGasperi & Son Plumbing & Heating, Inc. since I was now fully involved in the business and helping to run operations. My dad retired in 2014, but he still pops in from time to time! You might catch him occasionally on a job site or lending a hand in the office. We currently go by DeGasperi & Son Plumbing & Heating, Inc.
