Beware of Deforge's Plumbing.

A plumber is just one of those things. You don't think about it often...but when you need one, you usually REALLY need one!

When I was out of town (of course) about a month ago, the pipes froze in my small mixed use commercial building. (Thank goodness there are no renters right now.) A real estate friend of mine referred me to Deforge's Plumbing. He said that the guy is great, has been in business for almost 20 years, and is licensed in Minneapolis and St. Paul to do commercial and residential--fantastic!

I had my wife turn off the main water supply, and I left a message on the Deforge's Plumbing voice mail (no one answered). He never called me back or my wife back. In desperation, I left one more message two days later, when I returned to Minneapolis and assessed the carnage. Again, no response to my voice mail message. It's been a month and we haven't heard a peep from him. (We've since contacted a more reliable plumber.)

This is SUPER unprofessional. I thought there was a recession and contractors need work!? If you don't want to do the job, at least have the professionalism to return a couple of calls!
