I come from a lineage of plumbers, my family includes retired plumbers, including my dad, his brother, and my great uncle. I started working alongside my dad at the age of five. In the summer of 1987, I entered my apprenticeship, and with 30 years of experience in plumbing, I founded Deerman Plumbing Service in January 2017.

At 48, I have a wealth of experience. I have been married for two decades, and we are proud parents of three boys. Our firstborn, who is 21, is a master mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer. Our second son, 18 years old, is in training to join the United States Marine Corps. Our baby boy is 11. I served in the Alabama Army National Guard for nearly seven years. Our family attends Gardendale First Baptist Church, and I take part in a men's ministry there.
