As a third-generation plumber, my background includes a family of plumbers, with my dad, his brother, and my great uncle all having retired. I began plumbing with my father as a young child on weekends. In the summer of 1987, I began my apprenticeship, and after three decades in the plumbing industry, I established Deerman Plumbing Service in the beginning of 2017.

At 48, I have a wealth of experience. I have been married for two decades, and we are proud parents of three boys. Our firstborn, who is 21, is a master mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer. The middle child, aged 18, is preparing to serve in the United States Marine Corps. Our baby boy is 11. I served in the Alabama Army National Guard for nearly seven years. We are active members of Gardendale First Baptist Church, where I contribute to a men's ministry.
