The guy who was suppose to come back to finish the work I requested him to complete, never showed up or responded to the multiple text I sent to him. I would not recommend this company to anyone, please beware.

It absolutely breaks my heart to have to leave a negative review, especially for another black man who's doing what's necessary to survive during these trying times. However, I'm at wits end, without solution, and I've been left in the dark by Darren for 2 days now with minimal communication and my situation has only gotten worse since contacting this company for assistance.

Darren came out Sunday, 14-Mar-2021 to diagnose my pilot light issues. After a short review of my water heater, Darren advised he was going to check some supply stores Monday, 15-Mar-2021 for a ""sensor"" (that's the code my hot water heater was throwing). He unfortunately couldn't find any Monday morning and advised I look online. Luckily, I found one online and it was delivered next day. I called Darren, he came out, installed the sensor but left before we could determine if it was actually going to work. Darren had me send $100 to his Cashapp, and then went on about his way.

No less than 20 minutes after, my house filled with a gaseous smell and the hot water heater stopped working and threw the same code. I called Darren, he advised ""its a bad sensor"" and told me we have to replace the gas valve next. After asking ""didn't we just replace the sensor?"" he advised we replaced the burner assembly (we only replaced it because he told me so) and then we both began looking for new sensors and heaters (just in case we couldn't find any gas valves for my water heater).

The gas valve was delivered and Darren has been extremely MIA. I suspect he feels as though he's gotten enough money out of me and doesn't want to resolve the issue any longer because it'll be more headache than it's worth to him, but it's almost Thursday, I've been 5 days without hot water because of Darren's inability to properly communicate. Also, I've now lost $300+ dollars going down a rabbit hole I feel like Darren helped lead me down.

I'd avoid this business like the plague. I've called the main line, and spoke to ""Rosa"" who's been genuinely unhelpful and sounded as if Darren told her something about me our interaction/his avoidance of me and didn't do much to solve this problem. I've been led astray by businesses before, but this business and Darren specifically are unreliable and if you're not talking $$$ and jump at their suggestion, they will abandon you with more headache than it's worth. Back to square one I go, but please, please, please, do not do business with this business. They will leave you stranded indefinitely.

Update 18-Mar-2021: It seems as though Darren was working with me on his personal behalf as a ""side gig"" and not on behalf of the company which was advised to me just now through text. This means, this guy was rogue, using the company's name for his own benefit. They advised he was going to change his number and that's fine, because he can't change his without people knowing who he is. I've also included a text thread from this morning, 2 am, 18-Mar-2021 from Darren explaining his phone situation. Also, I've included a screenshot from Rosa, or the company manager, explaining how confusing this whole process has been and it seems to go in one ear and out the other. This is a new company and it shows. Buyer beware. They are very nice people, but their work, professionalism, and overall communication is horrible and I post this in hopes this company learns from their mistakes and does better.

I must add another update to this saga as it still continues 18-Mar-2021:

Darren now claims to have lost his job over my yelp review. Rosa advised she was going to send Darren out to my residence AGAIN at 10 am to solve the problem and I advised her ""do not send Darren to my residence, I will find assistance elsewhere, thank you"" and somehow that was misconstrued to Darren that if he were to show up, I'd call the police or something lol. This has been a text book example of dealing with a new company on Yelp that probably aren't certified to even be doing stuff like this in the first place. I'd reckon if I asked for certification, I'd be met with an attitude and anger because I don't think they have any.

Also, if Darren ""lost"" his job, why would you send him to my residence to complete the work anyway? Nowhere in my review did I accuse Darren of stealing $100 but here were are. You really can't make this madness up. Also, I was sent my $100 back, so I want to be transparent about that. This has been a big mess and I want everyone to be careful dealing with this company going forward.

This business is unprofessional! Responded to my quote, asked for pictures but never responded with a price. Also, after messaging them after sending my address they requested - I never heard from them after they send they were going to check their availability.
