After buying our house, there was a number of small plumbing questions and fixes I had all around.  Mac patiently walked around with me and addressed all of my questions and concerns either with knowledgeable advice or with a repair.  Would absolutely call them for any future plumbing needs.

My roommates and I came home from happy hour, only to discover a leak in our bathtub. What began as a minor trickle from the faucet soon took a turn for the worse. Water seemed to be flowing from behind the tub wall. After some frantic googling of "how to stop tub leak help" and darting around our very creepy shed, I shut off the main water supply to the house and called our regular plumber.

Unfortunately, they were not available. Nor were the next two that I called and left messages for. Although I found many tips online for DIY plumbing, I didn't trust myself to not destroy everything accidentally, and I was beginning to feel anxious about leaving it overnight.

My next call was to Decker Plumbing where I spoke to Mac. He was very warm and professional. He let me know that there is no extra charge with after-hours calls, which I was thankful for since that's not always the case. He told me that Charles, the technician, would be arriving between 8-9PM and would give me a call when he was en route, which he did about half an hour til 8. I was super appreciative of their promptness all around.

Charles arrived, extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He was here a little less than an hour and determined that we needed a valve and faucet replacement, but he could stop the leak for the time being and provide us with a patch-up so we could at least turn the water main back on (yay for running water!). I was impressed by the efficiency and reassured by his support in this situation. We will go faucet shopping this weekend and make an appointment to have them come out and give us a more long-term fix. Great service - we'll definitely go with them again in the future!

My husband and I recently moved into a new house with extensive plumbing issues. I wish we would have called Decker Plumbing first, unfortunately, we wasted money and time on two other plumbing companies in the area that seemed to create more issues than they fixed. Just when we started to think we moved into the house from Money Pit, a coworker told me to call Decker Plumbing. They were professional and sympathetic to our situation, and sent a plumber out to the house at OUR earliest convenience.

Unlike our previous experience with plumbers, Decker Plumbing came prepared with the equipment needed to fix our leaking kitchen sink on the spot. Also, they were able to repair our garbage disposal (we were told by less experienced plumbers that it needed to be replaced!), and repaired our water heater that had been on the fritz. I highly recommend calling Decker Plumbing FIRST for your plumbing needs. They are quick, courteous, professional and experienced.

We had water dripping into our kitchen from the bathroom upstairs. I called Decker Plumbing this morning around 9:30 AM and by noon they had a friendly service guy right at our door. He came in, looked, ran the water and as life would have it, NO LEAK! But he knew exactly what to do. He pointed the water to the shower curtain, watched the water hit the floor and BAM, water came crashing down from our ceiling!.. So the cost of the service call was well worth my peace of mind!!! First rate service!!! Gave me phone quote and explained what was included. Their plumber (Chris) called ahead, arrived on time and did super job. This guy's a plumbing encyclopedia!! He had no problem explaining what he was doing and why. I couldn't have asked for better experience! I came into desperate times over the weekend when I came home and discovered my water heater leaking everywhere!! I made a quick call to Decker Plumbing, and I'm so happy I did. Mac was kind and patient over the phone while I was going bananas! He asked me a series of questions, and we scheduled a time for a plumber to come out later that day. Amazingly, 45 minutes later I received a call that Charlie was in route. Charlie was quick and efficient - removing the old water heater and installing the new one. Jeff was extremely thorough and thoughtful to the point it felt like he was taking care of his own house. We were told by another plumber that our water heater would need to be replaced. Jeff fixed the problem and took the time to explain why the water heater stopped working. I would highly recommend Decker Plumbing and would use them again for any plumbing-related need.

This company is great! No bad words for them. A plumber showed up extremely fast after I was in contact with the Decker Plumbing. The plumber was very specific about the issue I had explaining to me my whole mechanism had to be replaced. A few other things were diagnosed as well, and everything was repaired within a half an hour of him being there! I would highly recommend this company ANYONE who needs plumbing done.

Over the weekend our 50 gallon water heater sprung a leak. We did not want to pay overtime or emergency prices from a plumber so we waited until Monday to contact a plumber. I called the plumber I typically use but they said they only way they could come out before Thursday was to pay the emergency rate. I called a couple of other plumbers from Yelp and got similar options. This was until I called Decker Plumbing.

Within a few hours of my call Charlie came out and looked at my hot water heater and confirmed that it needed to be replaced. This is when we started talking about installing a tankless water heater. I had been thinking about it but was skeptical. I did originally want to put either a larger hot water heater or a more expensive, higher efficiency tank. Charlie then reached out to the owner Mac who is a tankless water heater expert and he was able to come to the house as well and review the options with me. Mac upon reviewing our hot water needs and the layout of my home was able to give me an estimate for a tankless water heater that would allow for 2 showers and a load of laundry to run simultaneously. At this point I was sold on going with the tankless option.

The very next day Mac worked tirelessly for almost 7 hours straight to install the unit and we could not be happier. He cleaned up his work and left no mess and did a great job. Charlie came back and helped to remove my old hot water heater and they worked to ensure no mess would be left on my carpet as they did so.
The overall price of the unit and installation was certainly higher than just putting another 50 gallon hot water heater but the connivence of never running out of hot water coupled with the energy savings makes it worth it in the long run. Additionally I had just replaced a cracked expansion tank with another plumber on the Friday prior to all of this and an expansion tank is not needed with a tankless system. Upon hearing that Mac offered to take the cost I spent on that replacement off my total bill which was very appreciated and unexpected.

The total experience was excellent, from the initial phone call, to the calls & emails telling me when people were coming and to the actual work itself. I highly recommend this plumber and the tankless option.

Mac installed a gas shut-off valve and hooked-up a gas heater.
While relighting the pilot light on the hot water heater we discovered a small leak. I have him scheduled to come back later this week to install a new hot water heater.
