Do do not do business with these people and do not join any of their service club plans. Their service club is simply a way to get into your house and sell you things you don't need. I bought an air conditioner in June 2019 that was reasonably priced, but the rep snuck a club membership into the deal for $99 a year without making it clear what it was. I decided to just let it go and take advantage of the inspections offered in the plan for a year.

When the heating inspection guy came out a few months later he told me that my ignition sensor was bad and really needed to be replaced, though the furnace was working just fine. He told me I would be sorry if I let it go and ended up without heat in the winter.

If you don't know, ignition sensors can be had on Amazon for 5-15 dollars and any amateur can install one by in 5 minutes with the help of a youtube video. He handed me a quote for $475 - this for a $7 part that would have taken him 3 minutes to swap out. He also mentioned that my furnace that had sat were it was for years needed to be rotated 90 degrees to pass code, which is also an absurdity.

As if all this wasn't enough, I just noticed that Deans had recently charged my credit card another $99. You see, the club is a permanent thing and they will continue to charge you $99 as an device to get into your house and attempt to rip you off as long as you allow them to do it.

Larry was amazing! Our complicated unusual heater went out and he arrived right away and worked out it till the problem was solved. Would recommend Deans plumbing every time!

Got to give kudos where they are due. As Deans is the American Home Shield provider, we gave them another shot on a complicated hot water heater issue. The previous issue was a minor shower issue. In this case, Larry came through with flying colors and solved an issue others had a really hard time with. Thanks

Unbelievably poor customer service. Flood in house, no technician call-back despite promises. When we called again after one day, (with no water) we were finally told ""we are too busy to come to Mammoth"". This was after we were promised that someone would call at 7 AM. No more Dean's for us! And we are (were) established customers.

Why can you not give 0 stars? We called this place because we have a home warranty company who sent us there. We have a rental unit that has no hot water. We called them on a Saturday, Sunday and Monday without a call back. When we finally did get them they acted like we were pulling teeth to get them to our condo. Eventually they came out and the tech said there was water leaking from the top of the water heater which in turn went into some electronics and tripped the circuit breaker. He said he 'fixed' it and left. They didn't even bother to call us to let us know when the repair was done. When we called to find out if it was fixed and FINALLY got ahold of the tech (the next day) he was very arrogant and belittling when we tried to ask questions about the repair.
In any case our tenants called us to let us know they didn't have hot water again. So of course we called the company to have them come back out and they said they couldn't come out for a week. This back and forth had been going on for about 5 days now. The secretary was so rude and telling us to not take out the bad repair on her, they had two plumbers quit (no wonder) and it wasn't her fault. In the meantime we were stuck because the bill would be paid for by the home warranty company. We ended up calling a local handyman who went in to find we need a whole new water heater. Their tech never even took the cover of the unit off. I would steer very clear of this company.

I have used Dean's Plumbing many times as a local general contractor, and they have unfailingly delivered excellent service for a fair price. Everything was always done correctly the first time, no need for a call back. I highly recommend this company, and I will certainly keep using them myself.
