A rock from our fish tank got stuck in our garbage disposal and had locked it up. Dean came out same day within two hours of calling and had it fixed within 15 minutes. After fixing, he stuck around to make sure everything sounded right and the motor was clean. He was very nice and showed me where the circuit breaker is located and how to reset it. I will definitely be calling Dean for my plumbing and electrical needs in the future. Highly recommend!

I'm trying to sell a home from out of state. I discovered Dean on Yelp and hired him, based on his reviews, to cap off electrical wires from a hot tub removal and disconnect it from the electrical panel and breaker.

He did exactly what I needed. What's more, he was extremely patient and flexible with some hiccups we encountered. He followed up afterwards to confirm completion.

Not only do I recommend him, but he's at the top of my list for plumbing and electrical issues.

Our garbage disposal stopped working last night and was not draining properly. Called Dean this morning asking if he can come take a look at it after reading his stellar reviews on Yelp. He said he'd be able to come over later this afternoon and gave me an upfront quote of what the service charges would be.

Fast forward to later this afternoon...Dean arrives politely deals with my screeching and panicking dog and somehow manages to keep his hearing intact. 15 minutes later my disposal is fixed and working! Its great to feel like a problem solver knowing my wife will thank me as if I actually did something when really it was all Dean! I highly recommend Dean and thanks again for being a big help! -Mike

Dean is great. I had a number of issues around my condo, both plumbing and electrical.

One of the repairs required a specialty part from Germany. Dean was upfront and honest and said that he didn't have those parts nor the capability to order them, but he continued to give me advice on the other issues I was having around the house without charging me at all. Rather than saying that he could do part of the work, and then leave the other parts he couldn't do for someone else, he said that he recommended that other specialists handle all of my issues together. I was really stunned by his honesty. This is a guy that will not screw you over just to make an extra buck. (Also his rates are very reasonable.)

I'm extremely satisfied with Dean's service. As all the other reviewers have stated, he's up front about pricing, punctual, and fixed my electrical outlet issue within 45 minutes-ish. The wiring in my building is 55 years old, and I'd had friends try to fix the outlet with no luck. I'd had several other electricians tell me they couldn't make an appointment with me for 2-6 months, and Dean was available the same day I called (I was unavailable, so we arranged to meet 2 days later). I'm saving his information for any electrical/plumbing needs I have in the future!

Though I did not use Dean for home repairs because the project I had was not in his repertoire, he was the fastest getting back to me (like , within an hour!). After many non returned emails and calls, this was refreshing, plus I appreciate his honesty. I will update my review if I end up using his services for the many future repairs needed on my old house.

Dean did a great job for a reasonable price. It was a relatively simple light fixture replacement, and amazingly the job was done within 40 minutes from when I first CALLED. It was crazy because several other companies I tried calling hadn't answered, others said 3 weeks, 2 months, 3 months for an appointment. The fact Dean was able to be at my house 10 minutes after I called was a great surprise for me. Left everything clean. Guy seems like a pro, I'll call him the next time I have electrical or plumbing issues.

Dean is the kind of service provider you always hope actually exists. My breaker failed an hour before out of town quests arrived, and Dean (on a weekend!) was able to come over and quickly replace the problem part. He was quick and efficient and incredibly helpful. And his pricing is fair and exactly as he said over the phone!

My hot tub just stopped working. Tested the wiring and found one of the leads was only giving me 93 volts (they other was just fine at 120v). I did some tracing and found voltage was low all the way back to the panel. I'll install an outlet, but messing with the panel is something I just don't do. Called Dean because of all his great reviews. He's very upfront and straightforward -- all business. Rates are way cheaper than the electricians I called. He said if he couldn't fix it, I wouldn't pay a dime and he's recommend somebody trustworthy to do it, but he was confident that he could get it done. He was booked out a week, but called me when something opened up due to a cancellation. I needed about 20mins to figure out if I could make it to the last minute call. When I called back in 17minutes, he said another job came in and now he had to juggle, but he was still going to try to make it work. As I described what troubleshooting I had done, all of a sudden he said, ""Ya know, I'm just going tell you this to keep some money in your pocket."" He then described what was the most common cause of my voltage situation and told me how to test and solve it. He turned what would have been a $160 visit (would have been $200+ for any of the electricians I called), into a $11 trip to Home Depot and 5 mins on Youtube. Too bad he only does break-fix repairs because if he would do it, I'd use him for a bunch of plumbing and electrical work I need done. Thanks, Dean. You're a straight shooter.
