Our family at De Jager Plumbing and Heating strives to provide excellent service at reasonable rates. In 1963, Leendert ""Leo"" De Jager founded, our company has upheld Leo's family-oriented values through delivering honest, dependable, and friendly service as our foundation.
Now run by sons Jeff and Rob De Jager, the family-owned business remains focused on the values established by their father that their father instilled. They understand the significance of nurturing relationships, the trust and confidence their clients place in them. As co-owners of a family business with brother Robert De Jager, the company was created in 1963 by their father Leendert. We are currently celebrating 55 years of excellence in the plumbing business, across all plumbing services from steam boilers to cast iron radiators and backflow test certifications.

Our water heater pilot light would not stay lit. Called D&R, they were able to send out Doug the next day. He came in, quickly diagnosed the problem, went to the hardware, picked up a new part and we were back to normal. I appreciate the quick response and the fact that they didn't try to sell me a new water heater or additional services that were not required. They have been my go-to plumber for decades and I'm really happy the younger generation has kept the business running in a professional manner.

I live in a older home in San Francisco and have radiators as my heating supply. I was looking for someone to come and do some maintenance and change out my thermostat. The search seemed to be never ending to find a company that did that type of work. I saw a recommendation on Nextdoor.com for this company and gave them a call. They were so pleasant to work with from the person who did the scheduling to the person who came out to do the work. He showed up on time, looked over everything and changed out my thermostat. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This is unequivocally the best plumbing company I have used in the 30 years I have owned my four-unit SF building--and I've used numerous plumbers. They are skilled, honest, easy to communicate with, and their pricing is fair. I'm making my review brief so it has a better chance of being read, but I could go on for paragraphs. Phenomenal!

I had a very good experience with De Jager. They came out and helped me with a problem with my radiators. So helpful and informative.
And then a not so good experience-they came to pick up my radiators, shut off the gas, and then bring them to a powder coating place in South San Francisco. They billed for 1-2 more hours than they should have and I pushed back. The service was great, but not the billing part. I pushed back and they shaved off some time and I paid my bill.
I called them to go pick up the radiators (and emailed) and they haven't responded to me. Now my radiators are stranded in South San Francisco. Pretty bad customer experience and super disappointed.

I've owned a 118 year old quadraplex for 32 years. I've needed many plumbing repairs and used at least a half-dozen plumbers...probably more. I recently found Dejager & Reilly and they have now done two repairs. They are unequivocally the *best* plumbing company I've used--from the woman who answers the phone to the skilled plumbers. They are a small, local company, all easy to communicate with, and their billing is reasonable. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Look no further!

I have been working with DeJager for about 19 years, and have been beyond satisfied with the entire family crew. They know this building so well, old pipes and all. I highly recommend them and Candy the office manager is an added pleasure!

Our homeowners association -- as well as many of the individual owners, including myself -- have worked with DeJager & Reilly Plumbing for well over 25 years. This is an established multi-generation San Francisco family business. All of the plumbers are pleasant, professional and competent. Kudos especially to Sean and Leo. Candy, the Dispatcher, is responsive and helpful. With all the many many projects D&R has handled over the years, we have never had a problem. I recently used D&R to do a small plumbing project (in another location) replacing all sorts of faucets and toilets, and they did an excellent job, on time and on budget. If you are looking for an honest plumbing company to work with, I can't recommend D&R highly enough.

Have worked with D&R Plumbing two times and have had excellent results. The first time was several years ago, when they diagnosed and resolved a leak in my garage that stumped two other plumbers.
Most recently, Leo fixed our kitchen sink setup that had been leaking, as well as figured out and fixed a water pressure issue in our faucet.
Candy at the office is efficient and great to work with, and everyone shows up on time or within the timeframe scheduled. I am a busy real estate agent who has also recommended D&R to clients and other agents, and everyone has had positive experiences.

We use them for our annually required backflow testing. I always look forward to scheduling because the lady who answers the telephone is the happiest person on earth. The tech always arrives within the agreed upon time window, completes the testing efficiently, and files the needed paperwork.
