Not sure why my previous review was deleted...
I have used DeJager & Reilly for both residential and commercial plumbing needs. They always get the job done!

Business must be good. I them called three times just to get an estimate for my 89 year old godmother's carbon monoxide spewing (turned off by PGE) boiler and they never called back. When I called them back the third time asking when we could schedule an estimate and when I told them no one had called me back, the woman said they had a ""big, emergency job with the city"" and was surprised no had called me. I confirmed my phone numbers as correct and waited again. No call. This was over a 2 week period.
I'm Done.
NOT impressed and not recommending.
It would probably be a good business practice to say right up front they are too busy for small, piddily jobs and they only deal with big jobs.
Good luck riding the housing $ tide in SF. Maybe when times are tough, you'll call the little folks back again.

I could not be more a fan of these folks. As a property manager for several years running, DeJager & Reilly are now the only plumbers I call when in a bind. They're efficient, have fantastic follow-through and get the job done right- with both time and affordability in mind. Candy at the front desk is a gem whom I look forward to speaking with every time I call. She's always readily available with realistic estimates and truly does her best to come through in emergencies. All of this combined with the personal touch one receives when dealing with a family-run business (how often can we say that these days?) wins these guys a well-deserved 5 star rating. Keep doing what you're doing, guys. You rock!

I have been a property manager for 20 plus years and I highly recommend this plumbing company. First of all they are small enough to be nimble and Candy will work with you to get the appointment time you need. Don't bother with the large companies where no on e knows your name. Patronize a smaller company with a big impact!

Always responsive, (and normally with very short notice -no one plans a plumbing emergency), efficient, accurate and patient, they are my go to, neighborhood plumbing contractor and we're very happy to have them available to our businesses.

This is the best and most customer-focused plumbing company I have ever worked with. Family owned business. They care. Candy behind the desk is a pleasure to deal with in every way - as are her sons who work there too. Can't recommend them highly enough. Reasonable rates too - they deserve every success in the world as far as I am concerned.

We had a water heater meltdown while on vacation in England, and my daughter needed help ASAP. We called De Jager & Reilly Plumbing and they rode in on white horses and replaced the water heater immediately, with a better model, quickly and at a great price.
Highly recommended, they are responsive, competent and reasonably priced.

These guys are great! They get in and get the job done. It's a family owned business and they are always personable. Highly recommended!

I've been the building manager for a local realty company at the same location for about 30 years. Sometimes I'm directed by the realty company to use a certain vendor. We had a whole new heating system put in by another company; the firing motor went bad, and it took days for them to respond. And then they lied about replacing the motor. I fired them on the spot and D&R were the guys I called to make things right. They respond promptly, call ahead, show up on time and do great work and always with a friendly attitude. In particular, Rob is a true gentleman. If it was possible to give 6 stars I would. Highly highly recommended!!

A follow-up is in order. Roughly 2 months after having the new disposal installed, while looking for something odd under the sink, I noticed a leak and a pool of water, and determined that it was coming from around the seal of the new disposal.
Don't get me wrong here -- what they did, intially, was a swap-out. They simply took out the old one and put in the new one, using the existing gaskets, doohickeys, etc., and charged me little to do it.
When I phoned about the leak, they set up an appointment to send out the same two workmen who had installed the new disposal. They determinied that the old caulking was cracked and that I needed a new set of whatever the hell it is that makes up the connecting parts. I figured, o.k., price of parts plus labor, here it goes -- and the guy told me that I wouldn't be charged for parts. I don't begrudge paying for labor -- it's only fair.
I'm not about to suggest that it's their usual business practice, but I never received a bill from them, and here it is, almost (what) 10 months later? Never charged for the parts OR for the labor -- I think they were overdoing it, frankly. I should have paid for the labor, at least -- but I'm not going to call at this late date and complain.
SO: They own their work, and when it doesn't pan out, they come back and make it work. They might not even charge you. Both thumbs up for these people!
