My husband is active duty military and in the midst of pcsing and trying to move to Las Vegas our water heater broke. Dehart is a wonderful company! They came out on short notice and installed our water heater right away so we were able to sell our house! This was in July of 2017 and I still recommend this company to anyone I still know in Manhattan Ks! 10/10 would recommend this company for all of your HVAC and plumbing needs! The owner and technicians are knowledgeable and offer great customer service! They also have fair competitive pricing! Need a plumber? Use these guys!!

I live 21 miles from their office address and called to get a complete HVAC estimate. I was told they would not provide an estimate due to distance despite their advertising saying they service Manhattan, Junction City, and surrounding areas. I was happy to hear that other HVAC companies were more then willing to come to my house and provide an estimate.

My house is old, with as much character as it has maintenance needs. In the last month my hot water heater, a shower faucet, and an end cap on a cast iron line under the stool all went belly up. De Hart took care of it all - efficiently and professionally. Their staff was awesome. LeAnn, Kurtis, both Chris's and Zach, earned a 5+ with me.

I've been fortunate enough to receive good customer service with various home repair companies. But these folks are in a different class. They were extremely professional, while also friendly, informative, and skilled at diagnosing and fixing the problems quickly. I signed up for the VIP furnace and AC maintenance plan without batting an eye. I know it'll pay for itself in the long run by extending the life of my ""mature"" HVAC system. Their furnace maintenance was thorough, and the receipt included a detailed rundown of system pressures they took. They explained that these readings will be used as a baseline for comparison next year.

They informed me about basic maintenance I can do. I'm curious about this stuff and like to learn, so I can do as much of it myself as possible.They even put easy instructions for annual water heater draining right on the unit. I have confidence in their integrity, that they will only suggest maintenance or repairs that are actually needed.

Also, Leann went to bat for me when I ran into a snaffoo with my home warranty company, when they ordered the new water heater from Texas rather than getting one locally. Leann made extra calls to iron things out, got authorization to order a unit locally, and we had hot water pronto.

Lawrence, thanks for your commitment to excellent service. This level of quality starts at the top. And thanks to your awesome staff for taking such pride in their work, and good care of me and my old house.

Oh, and I'll add that my review is as true as my wish NOT to have anything break today. I really like all you De Hart guys and gals, but I'd rather see you in the grocery store:-)

This will be the only plumbing/HVAC company that I will use from now on. They have come to my rescue several times and each time the receptionist has given me quotes the were spot on. Every tech that has been to my home has been very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and proficient. I highly recommend this company.

As a new homeowner, I called Dehart because they had cleaned and serviced my furnace prior to myself purchasing the home in August. I needed to know where the furnace filter was located and how to program the thermostat. Well, just showing me those two items in 10 minutes I was charged $103.50. I was quoted $40.00 on the phone to do the service. Oh I was also told if diagnostic had to be done it would be more. The technician saw my veterans plate and gave me a 10% discount, the price above includes a 10% discount.
They could of gained a good customer for future business but instead I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH THEM!

Crew: Outstanding workmanship, experience, respect and curteousy. One of the rare occurrences where the workmanship and hospitality are both given.

Pricing: Very reasonable pricing and outperforms other local competitors offering similar services. More high quality product for a lesser price than all others I have inquired about. This company stands behind the products they service and installs as well as honors their work and warranties.

Dependability: Again, outstanding! If you have interactions with a wonderful woman named Kathy on the phone...she will do everything possible to accomodate your request for services in a timely and efficient manner. Service call pricing very reasonable and having dealt with many of their employees I have come to learn that they are very responsible and trustworthy. It says a lot about their business.

I have had encounters with many business selling themselves as professionals..This company sells itself...give them the chance to show their capabilities and you'll surelt be impressed. What they offer in products and services is money well spent with this company. Will always be a customer of theirs! 5* all the way!

Called DeHart to service an aging central AC system that was struggling mightily to keep up with the heat. Of course, when you have to call an ac repair service, you often have no idea what you're going to pay for them to fix your problem, until after the work is already done.

Oh wait, with these guys, you DO get to know what the job is going to run, BEFORE they start on it. They come, do some testing, and give you an estimate for the work before beginning the repair job. This is what got me at ""Hello"".

Other pluses:
- They got here right when they said they would be here.
- Very professional ""service ninja"" who was well equipped, friendly, and competent.
- Reasonable rates. This job cost about what I expected.
- Good advice for reducing future service costs.

And after the work, we are sitting cool and comfortable again. They are now my go-to service for climate control.
