this is the company my home warranty sent out. was very disappointed with their service. when the plumbers arrived i showed them where the main clean out was that was closest to the issue. they neglected to use that clean out at all. they were here for a while and all they seemed to do was make a big mess. they informed me before I they left that there was nothing they could do under the warranty and to be able to fix the problem they would have to add a new clean out inside that house that would cost me $750 dollars to put that in. definitely would never get service from this company again.

Well my home warranty sent this group to me. After cleaning out my line their plumber tells me about where his snake had bound up and he felt it pop. So we were good to go. We clogged up two day later. Came back out and after fifteen mins says it was same spot. We clogged up 2 days later. Again 15 mins later they are gone. I then receive notice that there is a broken pipe. At the tune of 3800 dollars to fix. I talk to the owner he's nothing but attitude. I make my own calls get a new plumber in wow they do clean it out and see some concerns with their camera. Call a septic guy he comes and fixes. Total cost. 600 and worked ever since. Don't deal with these jack wagons and their employees.

Problem: Tub drained backed into tub taking with it back grit-which also sometimes backed up into sink which caused toilet to gurgle & suck air and not flush all the way.

You never want to have plumbing issues ... because you never know when something you think should be simple turns into something ... expensive.

Then there's American Home Shield and you are just at the mercy of whomever they send. And the last plumbing issue we had, we were not impressed with who they sent - out of Lubbock no less ‍ ! (And they had to send someone twice!) And it causes major anxiety for someone who is pretty particular about who she allows into her home to begin with!

This time, AHS sent a different company and we had a much different (and better!) experience with Stephen who was with DDX Plumbing !!!

Now, I need a nap. I didn't sleep last night and plumbers had an early window this morning

This is the most absurd interaction I have ever had with any business that I can recall. The sheer lack of integrity of this company still blows my mind as I write this.

DDX Plumbing was sent out by my home warranty company to deal with my bathroom faucet and garbage disposal. DDX looked at the faucet and stated that it was a manufacturer's defect and that there was nothing that he could do about it, so he did nothing. He said that the garbage disposal was fine and that it was just clogged so he did not fix that either. I know there was more to it so I requested a follow-up, but let American Home Shield know that I would not tolerate having DDX Plumbing in my home again. He was rude, condescending and was obviously not going to try and fix anything. AHS sent someone else out and they told me what I already knew. The garbage disposal was no good and had to be replaced. The same went for the faucet. In addition to that, one of the shut off valves for the faucet was bad and also had to be replaced, something that DDX neglected to mention. I also called around and talked to some other people, family and friends, that I know that work in plumbing. Apparently DDX is known for this behavior. He will get sent out on a warranty call, do as little as possible to collect the fee, which also increases his chances of being sent out more since he costs the warranty company less since he does absolutely nothing. I know this because the warranty company did not like that this second plumber came back with a radically different estimate than DDX. SO they sent a third plumber, who confirmed all the same things as the second plumber: the faucet, shut off valve AND garbage disposal all needed to be replaced, and that there was no manufacturer's defect to begin with. DDX simply wanted to collect the warranty company's fee and stay in their good graces so they could be sent out on more warranty calls.

In addition to this and going all the way back to the beginning, when I called the warranty company the first time to find out what I could do they told me that DDX did not tell them there was a manufacturer's defect. In fact, DDX told the warranty company that they informed me that the faucet could not be repaired and that they offered me a builder's standard replacement faucet, but that I refused because I wanted the faucet that was already there replaced. I informed the warranty company that no such conversation took place, and that DDX was telling us both different things. I can't imagine the kind of work they do in other people's homes if this in the amount of integrity that they operate with. Beware if they are sent out to your home, especially as a part of your home warranty. Might as well count on having to get a second opinion to take care of your issue, because DDX will gladly take the money and not do anything to resolve your issue.

Terrible customer service from the office staff. If she would've been pleasant, the review would be different. It doesn't matter how well plumbers do the job if there is zero customer service from the receptionist.
