After returning from vacation (H2O heater was turned off) I found that the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. Unit was almost 17 so decided to replace rather than repair. Had been doing SOME research previously,knowing that I would need to put in a new one sooner or later. I didn't want to pay ""emergency"" prices, so wasn't in a rush. Did some further research, including Yelp, made a couple of calls, sent out for a few estimates (not returned) and called Dave this morning. He was very generous with his time in answering several questions. Dave had me text him pics of the setup, and we agreed on a fair price. Turned out he could have John and Matt do it today. (75 gal unit, so I knew it would take two guys.) John arrived within a few hours, as advertised. He was completely OUTSTANDING. Matt arrived from another job to assist, and the whole process was completed within less than 3 hours, to our COMPLETE satisfaction.
Unequivocal recommendation! Will likely use D.C. Plumbing for future needs. They are local San Clemente (& surrounds.) Been looking for a referral to a great plumber for some time, including Next Door, with no luck, but am SO happy I went with these guys!

AC wasn't working properly and then found water pooling in front of our furnace unit in the garage. There was a ton of condensation coming off the unit which was not normal so we called the company we have used for 22 years on Monday and they couldn't come out for 2 weeks!! AT 11PM on Wednesday night I decided to see if I could find a company who could get to us this week since it is summer and really hot. I called DC Plumbing right then cause it said they were open 24/7 and Jill answered the phone. She was so nice and listened to my dilemma never rushing me off the phone. She was able to set up an appt. for the coming Monday (better than 2 weeks) and told me she thought she could get guys out Thursday or Friday if they had time to squeeze me in. Sure enough Friday morning Jill called and texted me letting me know that Matt and Paul could be to my house in 20 minutes, just 36 hours after my phone call, we had guys coming to fix our AC! Matt immediately knew what to do and fixed it within 20 minutes! The price was a little high for the job that needed to be done but, I had no problem paying it since they got to me so quickly. We are now enjoying our nice cool house instead of sweating it out for another 12 days! A+ from start to finish and I will call them first next time!

Even though the plumbing problem was fixed, the plumber's antics left an unpleasant taste. His estimation went from $250 before he started to $500 after disassembling the bath tub facet that needed the hot/cold control valve (one piece unit held on with four screws) replaced. The final bill was $350, but it still feels we were fleeced. I called the company to complain, but didn't get any satisfaction.

Fast, knowledgeable and trustworthy!! One of our a/c units went out and they responded same day. Matt was the technician that came out and he was professional and knowledgeable. No frills or BS - he figured it out quickly and got it done. Awesome!! Back to being cool

Matt did an amazing job installing our tankless water heater. He was on time, communicated well before, during and after installation. No hidden costs. Actually did a little extra work for same price. Jill in the office was very helpful answering my questions and scheduling. DC plumbing is dishonest and has terrible customer service. One of their technicians quoted me an astronomical amount to fix a few minor plumbing issues. After calling another plumber who gave me a quote over the phone, I realized they were trying to rip me off and I felt extremely uncomfortable (I was home alone with my two young children)-- I paid the $79 service fee and asked him to leave. When I brought this situation the the attention of the supervisors, they skirted me for over a week and finally (when I called from a blocked number) refused to refund my ""service fee"". I ended up paying a reputable plumber less than 1/4 of the amount they quoted me for the work. I'll chock that 80 bucks up to a lesson learned, but please don't make the same mistake I did. If you are looking for an honest, reputable company with great customer service... keep looking. DC Plumbing is definitely not it.

Owner, Dave and his team are awesome. I was given a good price, a convenient appointment date and a proposal outlining exactly what would be done. They showed up on time, all very friendly and completed the job as promised. Dave checked all work the next day and answered any questions. Great experience, we are happy to have a good, honest plumber for future needs.
