I have found finding reliable, fast, and well communicating plumbers in NYC to be very hard to find. DC Piping called me back immediately, were on site same day for a consultation, left to get supplies and did the full repair same day. I was so impressed by their efficiency and hard work. The rates seem fair for the speed and quality of the work. I hope to not need plumbers for another leak anytime soon, but if I do, DC Piping will be my first call.

He was quick to respond. I told him exactly what I needed in writing, which was to replace a CRACKED SINK. He said it would cost $300 and I hired him. On the day of, he said I had said I needed a FAUCET replaced, and if it was a SINK that needed to be replaced, it would be $450. Except our conversation was in plain black and white, and that's not what I had said. And, on top of that, he charged me and arbitrary $40 for tax. The work he did was fine. But I suspect he does this sort of bait and switch a lot.
