I needed a natural gas line extended to my kitchen, the old electric cooktop and associated exhaust vent removed, and a new gas cooktop installed. Jay had visited a few weeks earlier and provided an estimate for the work. The work was delayed due to product availability, but Duvall was able to schedule the work within days of my obtaining my new gas cooktop. Alex, Jeff, and Noah arrived on time and got right to work. They were very professional, neat, and courteous. Alex went out of his way to minimize the size of the holes he needed to cut in my ceiling to run the gas line. I was very relieved to find them so small. They were also very meticulous about the cleanliness of their work areas, laying down tarps in each of the areas they were working. I am very pleased with Duvall's professionalism, cost, and the quality of their work.

They were very responsive and quick when my kitchen faucet broke. The contractor suggested picking out my own faucet rather than purchasing through them since it would save money, as well as the type of faucet to consider, and was able to schedule the replacement job promptly. They even fixed a leaking pipe under the sink that started between both visits the same day as the replacement without any issue or rescheduling.

Had a basement flood the week before Christmas at 11pm on a Sunday night, DB's had a 24 hour call service and while there was nobody immediately available to come out they called me back at 7:30am the next morning and Nick M. arrived by 8am. He worked all day and did not leave until after 9pm, nothing but great things to say about the quality of his work. In terms of pricing, they charged me over $6k to replace an old hot water heater and a failed sump pump, I think that price is ridiculous but when you're in that situation you don't really have the luxury of comparison shopping and are essentially at their mercy. To be fair they had previously quoted me about $3400 to replace the hot water heater alone about a year earlier, so it's not like they were jacking up the price to take advantage of the situation, they're just that expensive... maybe that's just the going rate now, I don't know. Regardless, minus one star for the cost but no complaints about the quality of Nick's work and his efforts to get everything done in one (very long) day for him. I signed up for their annual maintenance plan because doing so actually saved me more money on this purchase than the cost of the annual membership, and I would use them again despite the cost. Hope this is helpful.
